Acapulco Mexican Restaurant

Just ordered the Acapulco Burrito tonight. The rice was rock hard, the steak was overcooked, tough, burned black and solid. I can't even comprehend how this food was allowed to leave the kitchen. Whoever made this burrito should find another line of work. 95% of the food went into the trash. 100% my last time going to Acapulco.

Food was cold and mediocre. I did not like the lunch special I ordered. I had ordered one of those trio meals for lunch and the tamale with beef had ground beef …..who the heck makes tamales with ground beef?? Unless you are living in the twilight zone, where they may have an episode where tamales are turned “American style”
(That would be horrifying)I’ve never even heard of that.
The 2 carnitas taco in my trio lunch were not good cause they were covered in cold lettuce…..they used to put lettuce on the side . How can I bring that home to reheat????Yes they have gone way downhill over the past several years…….food used to be delicious.
Also I ordered black beans as one of the sides and I was not expecting black beans that were cold cause you put pico, sour cream, etc on top……..??‍♀️

The wife and I have been there multiple times b4 and loved it every time. Today we went there for dinner and they went down hill fast. The tables were dirty, the salsa was as if your eating just tomatoes there was more chunks in the salsa than we normally have had before. The food wasn't anything special to brag about. The service was really good but food was blah.

I had some kind of chicken dinner with rice and vegetables. The vegetables were too hard to eat. Broccoli and carrot, they might as well come out of The refrigerator. Bartender got Another order They were hot but just as hard. Them cooks need to learn how to cook vegetables. And no compensation. Very disappointed.

Manager/bartender leaves something to be desired. Don't know his name, but he has sandy blonde hair and is middle aged. Has been sarcastic and rude the last few times we have been there. He also allowed 4 younger employees to stand around at the till and publicly bash customers. To the point that people at the bar could hear it.. Not ok! Very bad for business. Bring the other dark haired gentlemen back that speaks Spanish. He's great at what he does, treats customers respectfully and would never allow public customer bashing.
