It was our 3rd consecutive anniversary spent at the River Inn but our 57th year of marriage. Yes, it was to the same husband! Although it was super busy we lucked out with almost immediate seating. All the wait staff was pleasant and smiley. We always share our meal and it came evenly divided on two plates. The husband always thinks my half is bigger but not true. The only downside was no ribs on a Monday night which we knew. I like RI ribs better than Big Boar as they fall...
I had the shrimp and onion rings and my son had a personal pizza. At first I thought it might not be enough food but that was probably due to the presentation. The battered shrimp were good and so were the onion rings. My son's pizza was delicious. I'll say not quite as good as Sammy's in Duluth but excellent all the same.
