Delightful coffee shop with a game store inside.

Geek Haven Coffee is a gem in with a game store in the quaint downtown strip of Hastings. The pastries all look delicious and top quality. The drink menu and coffee are top notch. There is also a nice, spacious seating area inside the establishment.

I'm retired, my days are spent driving my hotrods to different towns for the fun of it.Two years ago, I moved to be near my girlfriend. We started going to GHC. The folks who run it are pleasant & fun.Retired people enjoy coffee and a newspaper. I know I do. In the last few months, we've seen a pattern we don't care for.In our last five visits over a two week period, four days we had burned coffee. The fifth, coffee so bitter, we didn't drink it.We will continue to frequent the shop. We just want more consistent tasting coffee.StreetRodder

No frills just good coffee and friendly folks. My Hastings coffee preference by far.

Cute little coffee shop inside the game store in downtown Hastings, from Italian sodas, regular coffee, lattes and pastries this place knocks it out of the park with their quality items. They even have a punch card! Friendly quick service and they really know their repeat guests just by seeing how they interacted with other customers before and after I. Stop on by this place, grab a drink and check out their board games! You'll be able to find something for everyone at the game store side!

Unfortunately couldn’t stop in for apple cider because the barista was on break, she could’ve been a lot nicer about it to me and a couple of other customers. That was a shame because it seems like a cool place but I can’t handle the terrible customer service.

Loved this quirky coffee/game shop! Best coffee mocha we have had lately. Might just have to have a black coffee to taste that undiluted coffee flavor. We had raspberry scone with white chocolate and a gluten free brownie. Baked goods come from a Northfield bakery so was afraid they might be stale. But no...brownie was surprisingly moist and delicious as other gluten free ones I have had were dry. Scone so good we got two to go. Just browsing the old timey board games was a treat and you can pull one out to play. Staff are great young people, a real treat for us old folks. Also go around the corner to the old timey candy store for another trip down memory lane... real moon pies!

First door hours say open at 10:00am on Sunday then I wait until 10:00am come to find out they open. 8am then the woman cashier was rude I ordered my coffee then ask about an espresso shot she treated me like I was special or mentally handicap then said icouldn't sit at her table outside because someone else smokingFirst he's outside standing on sidewalk I'm drinking my coffee I just paid forPpl just need to treat others how they want to be treatedMaybe if I was living her and not visiting maybe she would have been more polite
