I ate KFC yesterday in Hastings and was not real impressed with the meal. Two meals with two-piece chicken in each, mashed potatos and two small coleslaws on the side. Well, the chicken was fine, but it surely didn't seem like a $27 plus meal ($14 ea.)! Plus, what is with the gravy? The gravy was white with no flavor, it was as if it was flour and water? Did they skip the chicken broth in it or is this a new gravy? I feel like they've gone down hill in the past...
We received such a warm welcome from Daniel as we entered KFC in Hastings. He was very helpful and patient with our questions. Others arriving after us were also greeted very pleasantly. As we were leaving, Daniel took a few moments to ask if we were satisfied with our visit, and we were. He said he will check about having chicken pot pies there in the future. The food is exactly what I expect from KFC. The staff has been great, a few hiccups but thats to be expected from a new store. The staff does well fixing any issues, but hopefully you never have to call the kfc support 800 number, they are absolutely awful.
