Stopped by here after a long motorcycle ride. Unfortunately, we arrived after a large wedding party. So there was no room inside, but the patio was open, which was fine. Service was not great. Took over 10 min just to get some much needed waters on a hot day. The servers were friendly, just not speedy at all. The Bird's Nest was tasty, but 2 of the 4 shrimp were cold and felt not cooked. Another guy in our group didn't even get his order by the time the rest of us were done eating. At least they comped him the meal... Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Maybe go if you are in a party of 4 or less.

The food was pretty good. The service fair, although we waited for 15 minutes after the tab was dropped off for the server to pick up payment and that was after we flagged another server. All in all, okay.

Selected here due to the large outdoor patio which was pleasant. And the menu looked good with varied items. Server was very nice and friendly. First off, the carafe of water served tasted like it came from the nearby Mississippi River with bleach added. Undrinkable. Why serve that?? Friend and I both hated our food. I had “Birds Nest.” Large shrimp with angel hair pasta. Deep fried. The pasta was fried not the shrimp! One big, messy, greasy, over fried mess of a dish! Yuck. Went home hungry. Friend’s seafood dish served with tiny broken pieces of clam shells. We both should have just gotten a burger.

We had a great lunch at Lock & Dam Eatery- we started with delicious hot, gooey cheese curds and then our wonderful server Emma suggested the special chicken sandwich - so nummy! We sat outside and enjoyed the great food, great service, weather, river and the view- can't wait to go back

They didn't have the ingredients to make the first cocktail I ordered (from their menu) and then the one I did get was very overpriced for the small glass I received. Food was ok (nothing spectacular)and served quickly and the staff was friendly.

We had our Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce lunch mob networking event here. The street tacos were fantastic and the service was fast despite having a large group!
I probably went on an off night... only 3 tables of patrons, but by far the best restaurant in Hastings that been to so far!

Lock and Dam has great atmosphere and service and great food and nice views. We stopped in for dinner while visiting my daughter and son in law in Hastings Mn. The food was so delicious. We recommend going here to eat and check it out.

It’s difficult at the restaurant for senior citizens are a matter fact anyone there’s a slanted concrete ramp that goes the front door but there’s no handrail. It’s very difficult for a senior enter.
