Friendly staff, love the atmosphere and being on the river. We ate breakfast here. Ordered eggs and bacon, and others ordered the avocado toast. Food was cold and not much flavor, their hashbrown casserole was super yummy. Coffee was great! Presentation good. Super clean! I'd stop again to try lunch or supper.

We were here for a large family reunion. The dinner was delicious and very well organized in a spare room. All the wait staff were very responsive and friendly especially Carrie who had our table. She helped add to the very positive atmosphere of the restaurant.

Beautiful night to be on the river. UnfortunatelyThe bar situation was horrendous. They were understaffed, untrained and incompetent. Waited 15 minutes to get our first round at the bar. The second round we waited 20 minutes and still couldn't get an order at the bar. After talking to the manager it was apparent she didn't even realize there was a problem. We ended up going someplace else and having a very nice dinner and drinks. There is certainly better places to spend your money in Hastings!!

Service was the most important thing. I met with an old friend I haven't seen or talked to in about three years. We ordered two appetizers and two drinks. We were there for around four hours chatting and the waiter kept our waters full the whole night. That shows excellent service and I regret not getting his name so I could mention it.

We went there on a Saturday evening about 5:45 to celebrate our 45th anniversary. We ordered the Moscato wine (lovely) and I ordered the pan-seared walleye on MN grown wild rice plus green beans which was delicious. My husband ordered the trout with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans, which were also very good, although the garlic mashed could have had little more garlic added, both of us thought the flavor was a bit too mild. We ordered the strawberry shortcake for dessert which was lovely and large so easy to share. Service was very good from Hannah. Atmosphere was nice, we could easily carry on conversation while we were there through about 7pm. Maybe we were spoiled by the food and service on cruise ships we have taken, although the service and food was very good, it was expensive comparatively and slightly disappointing. I would be willing to try it again for another special occasion sometime in the future.

Five stars says it all. We will return.

Ordered crab cakes, caprese, clam chowder, mustard encrusted salmon, grilled garlic shrimp, and the strawberry shortcake. Cocktails were amazing. Our waitress Sophie was awesome!

The steak tastes great with this sauce, but the service attitude is a little poor.
