Standard ice cream place with some fun menu items. Staff are always friendly and very patient with children. Lots of seating inside but most opt to sit out front. There is a slightly larger than normal sidewalk with a few tables and chairs. It can be quite noisy with Vermillion traffic but who wants to stay indoors with ice cream on a hot day?

My review prior seems lacking. It had been my first time going on a whim while my friend and I were driving through town. I didn't think I was going to think anything of it after I initially posted my review.
I've stayed up at night thinking about schoolhouse scoop. I daydream about it. My friend and I go to other ice cream shops in different towns and say that nothing is going to compare...

Stopped in here the other day. Bummed that they still didn’t have the Mint Mackinaw Island Fudge ice cream flavor. I had it once over a year ago and haven’t seen it since. The gentleman behind the counter said, we get that all the time, let me check the back to see if we have any. He came back with the tub and asked if we wanted to take it home with us! I promptly bought a quart of it and left a VERY happy man.
