In the last 2 weeks have been at some 'upper class' (lol) restaurants that couldn't hold a candle to Wiederholt's. These people know how to do things right.

Prime rib was 1/3 strips of fat and served room temperature. Buns were dry and salad with squished out of a bag and put on your plate. Cafeteria style seating can't get noisy

Stopped in here for the first time with friends. With a table of six there were a couple of errors in our orders. I ordered the filet mignon medium, which was great could’ve used a little bit of extra seasoning. I ordered without mushrooms, but it came with mushrooms on it, and I had to remove them. Somebody else was missing a tartar sauce for their meal. Everybody at the table said it was a nice supper club atmosphere but the food was nothing too special and I would agree. Bit of a musty smell when you walk in, but otherwise fairly clean.

Wow! Weiderholtz has gone downhill! This was once a destination for us. Service was awful. Prime was below average. Salmon was dry and fishy! Rolls were dried out, bordering on stale.
This was our last trip to Meisville! Don't bother!
We did however stop in New Tier for a drink at Dan's on our way in. We will definitely be back, and will stay for dinner next time.

We had an amazing night doing last minute Christmas shopping in Red Wing. On our way home we stopped by Wiederholts to grab a gift card and a bucket of Grasshoppers. We decided to stay and order food the Prime Rib was amazing as always! Thank you for the great food and amazing service. New review as it wouldn't allow me to start a new one.... I called to get a gift card to surprise my in laws today. The staff allowed me to purchase the gift card and gave it to them upon their arrival for their dinner reservation. Thank you for allowing me to come in and do this for them. Also, best Prime rib and halibut ever!!

Every once in awhile when we want that good old Minnesota supper club experience we hop in the car and head down to Wiederholt's and they never disappoint. The food is top notch, recommend the prime rib it's the best anywhere within a 1000 miles. The Old Fashioneds well I'd drink a gallon of them if I could but those days are long gone. Everything is just right, from the relish tray and crackers to the great waitresses. You can't go wrong at Wiederholt's and we haven't in 25 + years.

Had the opportunity to eat here for Father's Day 2024 and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere reminded me of the super clubs I would go to with my family growing up. The food, while pricey, was excellent and the proportions were generous. We had a party of six and three of us got the filet mignon at $34 a piece and they were great! My wife wouldn't let me look at the bill.
