Have been coming here for years. Best lunch specials around, fantastic food, super kind staff. Food is always hot , fresh, and delicious. staff remembers you by name, and are good people. I would not go anywhere else in Duluth for Chinese food.

Half of the food was good. Half sucked. The egg rolls were made with some kind of super fibeous vegetable. It was super chewy. Also my fiance's sweet and sour chicken was overcooked and tough. My chow mein was a mix of both some fresh and some old reheated tasting slices of chicken toward.thr bottom. Service wa good though. Probably will go to another place next time.

I ordered carryout of shrimp fried rice and beef with fried potatoes. When I got my order Home, there were no potatoes with the beef. When the gal had brought my order up, she said something about beef with peapods and I said no it’s supposed to be with fried potatoes and she said 00 yeah it’s fried potatoes. Not one potato in the order. When I called in about the situation, I was told that the woman would give me a one dollar credit for having no potatoes in my order. I don’t want peapods, I don’t like peapods. And I wanted to either my order replaced and brought to me or refunded. They refused. This is the last time that I will ever order from this restaurant.
Update: I was talking to a friend the next day, and she told me that she had ordered sweet and sour chicken, but when she got her order, there was no sweet-and-sour sauce. When she called the restaurant, she was told she would have to come into the restaurant to get the sweet-and-sour sauce. Then they wanted her to pay for it even though it was supposed to come with her meal. The customer service at this place is absolutely atrocious. I changed my rating to one star.

I agree with previous post, outside is awful. Inside is dated, worn and not too clean. Food was surprisingly good, but i kept wondering about the kitchen and simply lost my appetite. My server was great.

Ordered a Pao Pao platter and a quart of Shrimp Subgum for pickup. Came out in 7-8 minutes. Everything was great. I especially liked the chicken wings, while My wife (a shrimp nut) loved the breaded shrimp. The Subgum had plenty of shrimp in it. My wife and I got 3 meals out of this.

The best Chinese in all of Duluth/Superior. Serious, love the sesame chicken, lo mein, etc.

The place was dirty, food was rice was burned and terrible, I received the wrong item in my order, and it was dark and dingey in the restraunt.

I sat in my car and almost didn’t go in after seeing a few reviews. But then saw all the good reviews. So we went in and tried it. I think this place is a gem. I’m going back. Food was great. The staff was great. The music finally came on and it was better atmosphere. I wouldn’t nap on the floor.

The food is worth it. Don’t judge a book by its cover!!

Aug.19, 2025. My partner & I had dinner here. Our server(Cheryl) was simply the best. Very knowledgeable & friendly.
Cream cheese won tons(8) were recommended. They came with a sweet and sour dipping sauce that married perfectly with the cream cheese. Great choice.
Cheryl told us that the Hot & Sour soup could serve 4 even if the menu said 2. Wow, was she correct. I had the Generals Chicken while my partner had Sesame chicken with Broccoli. Neither of us could finish our main courses after having 1/2 the excellent soup, two egg rolls and the 8 Won tons.. Very tasty and the huge portions allowed us to use the leftovers for dinner tomorrow. ;-)
I asked about the spiciness and our server called it medium. I requested that it be spiced up a bit and the end result was perfect. Really nice job in the kitchen.
Last thing is, our order was out very quickly.
We will be back for sure.

I love the food and the atmosphere here, I go here quite often and enjoy the lunch specials, far better than a McDonalds for sure and alot healthier. Very affordable for all. The owner is a real sweetheart and she will deliver to you if you cannot go in for sit down meals.. Great service, girls are very friendly and efficient.. and the water is the best at this restaurant. Food very flavorful, hot, and authentic chinese. My favs are S&S Pork, Moo Goo Gai Pan and Shrimp/Pork Egg Foo....

Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the outside! The inside was extremely clean! Tahalia our server was amazing! Very quick and responsive! Food was delicious! Will stop again in the future!
