I really wanted to like this bar and perhaps I’ll give it a try in a couple years but the bartender (Ethan) was the most unfriendly bartender I have ever had. He was short with us, argued and talked about us with his back to us to his coworker. Slammed our drinks down. I work in restaurant management and this is absolutely unacceptable.

Our first visit and we were there with our Corvette club. We were many and the food came out in a very timely manner and hot. Our first experience was a plus and we will go again.

I had the shrimp ? basket with fries, Cole straw, Texas toast ? and a tall blue moon ? beer ? with my dinner ? it was perfect and reasonable prices, too. I went there for a get tonight with coworkers. we travel to different restaurants around the twin ports area ? I will definitely go back there someday again in the future ?

We loved their pizza special and service was great. Went back about 6 weeks later ( live 2 hours away) and they remember us and what we drank.

Had a great lunch here. In town for work, food took a while to come out but our waitress was super cool and apologetic about it. We had no issues with it taking longer, but she genuinely was bothered by it. Shows she cares and was dedicated.

Sandwiches are pricey! French dip sandwich is $15 WITHOUT onions, peppers, cheese… Add $1 for each addition which actually makes it a French dip. Sandwich ended costing $18. Meat very dry and tasteless. Fries are good, not a generous amount. Patty melt was nothing special. Lunch for 2 with only coke, no alcohol, $50 after credit card charge and automatic tip.

The bartender is Emily who everyone is talking about as the psychopath. The owners are Pete and John. Even though she is the rudest bartender to the customers they can’t fire her because she would reveal one of the affairs.

Our server was super nice, and there was a good beer selection (loved the Leinenkugel Oktoberfest). But the food left something to be desired, and the owner was surly. Our burgers and fries were lukewarm and the fries were so greasy they were uneatable.

Foster's bar and grill is a great place where you can come as you are and enjoy an excellent meal at a reasonable price ?. We dine at Foster's at least once a week and never had a meal that we didn't enjoy. There is a surcharge for credit card use, however.Parking: Parking is available on all four sides of the establishment.
