Pizza was cooked perfectly, the place was clean and service was quick and friendly. Will definitely make this my go-to when travelling through Duluth.

Enjoyed Sammy’s buffet a lot until recently.I specifically go there for the soup and salad part of buffet. However, last three times I’ve gone there, the soup options are not something I enjoy so I end up with just salad and a few squares of pizza. Why is the simple traditional type of soup like beef barley, vegetable beef, chicken noodle no longer being made. Now it’s always something with rice or white sauce. Couldn’t a traditional soup and also the current type be put out as option.

Ridiculous, called to order the nick special which is on the website, silly girl working counter told me they don't make that there, then why would it be on your website., ridiculous,and when I asked her, can u bring it up on your computer to basically see how to make it I don't have a phone, it poor customer service like this that makes people like me not deal with pizza shops like Sammy's ever again. Horrible.
I visit Sammy's often. I always order and wait for my take out on the long wooden bench provided near the front door. The waitresses who do not service me at all during my TAKE OUT are rude and inconsiderate everytime. They glare and give snarling looks and have absolutely no customer service ? one literally stopped inches in front of me to look at her friend though the window ?♀️ when i tried to smile she grossly turned her head and walked away. She was so close i had to tuck my feet under the bench. This happens every time. I have gone so far has to put a generous tip in their jar, just because I felt bad for them.If customers are not allowed on the bench because we block the little booth window it should be posted. I really don't think it's worth the disrespect anymore and I live closer to Do North Pizza... Sorry Sammy's

The two girls that are servers, I believe (one is a blonde with a ponytail and one a brunette with long hair) ... Have horrible attitudes. They just walk back and forth a bunch playing with their hair. They glare, no smiles whatsoever, and don't know how to say "excuse me" when almost taking my leg off multiple times while walking by my mother and I as we waited for our food. This has happened 3-4 times now when we order our food. Sadly, our food was so burnt we couldn't even eat it, picture attached. Usually the food is good and we spend about $80 each visit. But the two girls really should get different jobs if they don't like to be friendly with customers. It makes it a very uncomfortable experience. They seem to have no issue being friendly with the boys in the back but can't even crack a smile with paying customers. My mother doesn't even want to go here anymore because of how uncomfortable she feels while we sit in the waiting spot for our food. It's sad.The young man who took our order was very polite and menu knowledgeable.
