This is truly a hidden gem. Found it through a google search, as it was near a shop we were visiting in Hermantown. Unsuspecting on the outside, cozy warm and friendly on the inside. The food was great and the staff were too. Highly recommend.
I've been here a couple times when I'm visiting the Duluth area. Food is always good and service is always friendly. It's a busy place, so they can have 20-30 minute wait times and the service can take a while. But I've always had good food.
I've met the owner and he's a really nice guy and you can tell he's passionate about what he does.
We'll be back when we're back in the area.

I got the smoked salmon eggs benedict, which was great. I also quite enjoyed the provided hot sauce selection.
