One of the most disappointing food experiences I've had in the twin cities. My cocktail was undrinkable and the pasta my partner had tasted like a sloppy joe over papardelle, weirdly vinegary. Another pasta dish in our party came out looking completely gray. The menu tries to do interesting things but is just weird. The second star is for the lighting which was lovely.

I really wanted to love Hendrix and Siena — and in many ways, I did! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and our service that evening was great!

Unfortunately, after dining here, both my boyfriend and I became very sick with symptoms consistent with food poisoning. We had shared several dishes, and given that nothing else we ate that week overlapped, it seemed very likely that something we ate that night caused it.

I initially reached out privately to share what happened because I truly appreciated the experience otherwise and didn’t want to post publicly. The owner was kind and responsive at first, and I appreciated that they took my concern seriously. However, after my follow-up messages, I stopped receiving replies, which has been disappointing.

I completely understand that incidents like this can happen even in the best restaurants, but I do wish there had been better communication or closure from the team. It’s an unfortunate ending to what started as a really positive dining experience.

incredible food, wonderful dining experience the staff is incredible and knowledgeable. Love the family owned vibe. I also love the open kitchen concept it makes everything feel so cozy and involved. I can't wait to come back as it is a true staple to the elevated dining scene

I have been here 4 times now and I can confidently say this is one of my favorite restaurants. We have had Nolan as our server 2 or 3 times and he has always been great, polite, knowledgeable of the menu, and consistently makes good suggestions. The last two times we ordered the pizza del momento and both times they have been home runs. I love the creativity of the menu. I really appreciate the changing pizza and overall modifications to the menu with the seasons. The bruschetta for the appetizer is fantastic and the pastas have always been good. We think the prices are more than fair, sometimes even inexpensive compared to other restaurants we done at. Happy to have such a great restaurant on the avenues!

Dinner at Hendricks and Sina was nothing short of incredible. The atmosphere immediately made me feel at home - warm lighting, comfortable conversation and a genuine sense of hospitality that's hard to find anywhere else. The kind of place where you can unwind, laugh, and truly enjoy being at the table. The server knew all about the wind and how it pared with each order verb dishes. I highly recommend the lamb ribs and the pickle pizza.!!
The food was outstanding.

We were sat in the patio area due to not having reservations. Totally understandable. Would be a more community vibe however if there were more seats filling the middle section. The agnolotti was recommended and hands down one of the best pasta dishes I’ve tasted. Really enjoyed the lemony beans too. The apple crème brulee was okay IMO, but I don’t think I’m a huge fan of that dish anyways. Flavors well executed overall.

We don’t have a reservation so we were seated at the bar. We started off with martinis and delicious house made soda. I wasn’t a big fan of the lemony beans but the chicken parm and the gnocchi with brown butter sage was delicious! The chicken was juicy with a light spice and the gnocchi was perfectly cooked. Elote Cesar salad was so good I would visit again just for that. We definitely need to visit again and try more menu items. Service was friendly and we utilized street parking.

I hesitate to even write this review, because Hopkins locals already know what a gem Hendrix & Siena is—and I’d like to keep getting a table on Friday nights. It’s become our ritual: my wife and I “discover” the fridge is mysteriously empty, then meet here for dinner.

The vibe works no matter the mood—drinks at the bar, a glass of wine on the patio, or a cozy spot in the dining room. My wife raves about the wine list (she’s partial to the rosé lineup), and the menu has never let us down. From house-made pastas to perfectly prepared entrées, it’s Italian comfort food done right.

Of course, I’d be lying if I didn’t mention the pickle pizza. It’s not just a gimmick—it’s genuinely one of the most unique and craveable things on the menu. But it’s only one highlight in a lineup of dishes that keep us coming back.

The service is equally standout. No matter where we sit, we’re treated like regulars—warm, attentive, and never rushed. It feels like dining with family, only with better wine and no dishes to clean up afterward.

Just a heads up: I’ll be back next Friday, already thinking about what to order. Save me a seat.

Wow! So impressed with the food!! The Caesar salad was the best I’ve ever had, enough to share - nice big portion. We had the pappardelle and that was very good as well. Chicken Parmesan was super crispy and moist - no pasta or sauce with it so be prepared for that as it’s different than what you would expect, but also very good and it’s half a chicken so good size to share as well. I would come back again and again. I highly recommend this charming little restaurant!

This place is just what you want when you truly want to feel, smell and taste a slice of Italy in a homey way. It’s my all time favorite restaurant. Now - I don’t want to say anything more, because everyone has figured this place out and it’s pretty hard for me to get a reservation. Oh yeah, it’s THAT good. Bravo!
