Their exclusive reliance on email communication made it difficult to reach a real person for assistance.Despite my efforts to communicate and seek a resolution, I received only a generic response offering a mere $10 coupon and asking about the type of bug I found. After numerous attempts to secure a refund for the affected meals, communication abruptly ceased, leaving me without any further recourse.Overall, my experience with Origin Meals was extremely disappointing. From fake meat to finding bugs in my food, coupled with inadequate customer service, I cannot in good conscience recommend their services to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for your meal delivery needs.

My experience was mixed. Initially, we received meals that were pretty good. Then we received meals that were terrible. We re-ordered meals that were good, and they were prepared entirely differently than the last time, with different proportions of proteins. This company has no mechanism for feedback. I did reach out to them one time and did not receive any response. It's worth noting that the meals are expensive, and I did not receive consistent value for my money. I would prefer to do business with a company that has a mechanism for feedback.

Got fired for being sick and having a bad immune system. Doesnt make much sense. The sanitation manager along with other management doesnt wash their hands or follow sanitization protocols. The owner has a short temper and is super cheap! Making us do manual labor to fix up his facility instead of doing what were hired for. Never got compensated for the state fair when they told me they would, and had me stay way past work hours! Have disabilities that sometimes interfere as well with my work, but they dont seem to care and still proceeded to terminate me. Theres mice in the kitchens, everything keeps breaking down, some coworkers have found mold in the kitchen ! For a food production facility they are DISGUSTING! And honestly need a thorough inspection. We had *** come when we partnered with a company but shortly after stopped because we kept failing *** protocols. Which when the sanitation manager doesnt even wash her hands I can see why we always failed. Head chef doesnt do anything about said sanitation manager even when multiple employees have gone up to him saying something. Management only seems to care about themselves and not the actual team. This place is so gross I dont recommend anyone working there.

I signed up 3 days ago and was unable to order the meals. After an hour of frustration, I reached out to the company three times by email three times and I’ve called and left messages over the past three days. Nothing from them. Of course they’ve already charged my card and I haven’t ordered any food and no one is responding or helping me. Unprofessional is being kind. Will update when I have a resolution either from the company or dispute with my credit card company.

Food is ok if you like pork, it seems they use it a lot. Very hard to get a hold of them though with questions or changes. The phone number is not monitored- at least they never call back; same with email. The main way to talk to them is the chat button through the website. I also agree with other reviews, website is confusing to modify/ edit/ cancel orders. Unfortunately will be looking somewhere else

I just started and I’m already hooked. I had weight loss surgery not long ago, and these are perfect. I order the standard size and it’s usually 2 meals for me (or one meal and a snack later). High protein and super delicious!

I researched many meal companies before settling on Origin Meals, and it checks all the boxes for me: delicious, nutritious, local, convenient, minimal and environmentally friendly packaging, superb customer care. Highly recommend you give Origin a try!

My trainer recommended Origin Meals as a good pre-made meal option to stay healthy while my life is crazy. I've been on the 10 meal a week plan for a few weeks and love the quality, quantity, and taste of the food. I've tried HelloFresh before but didn't like the long(ish) prep time or short-shelf life of the produce they provided. I live in an apartment and it's easy for them to deliver and drop off in the mailroom.

The food quality is decent, but when you forget to select, your menu/diet preferences are not respected in the ones that are sent out. I finally cancelled though I don't regret most of the meals I have received. Customer service is a hit or miss depending on who answers if there is an answer.

Just had my first meal. Turkey lofted and Batista Harry.I really liked the mes and the veggies and the flavor was great. However the red potatoes were very undercooked and the 90 second heating did nothing to change them.I have 5 more meals to try. Will keep you posted.
