The bar is very nice and welcoming. The bartenders are very friendly and fun to chat with, and the food is very good and comes out fast. Great experience!

The worst restaurant/bar experience I have ever had. We were served raw burgers and undercooked fries. The cook was drinking back at the grill and the bartender messed up our orders multiple times. We have heard good things about here in the past, but today was a disgrace.

We waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for onion rings and cheese curds, when we asked the young blond bartender got very rude telling us your not even local, my wife was telling her that she knew it wasn't her fault and that was met with that we were old and ugly,

I overheard a blonde bartender insulting customers in a very rude way calling them fatty and such because they were wondering when the food was coming, will not be coming back no one seemed to care or react I find that extremely disrespectful

Great food, The cheese curds and bacon cheese burger were awesome. The price was very good also. Left stuff. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Food was good. Service was about non-existent. The gal was on her phone. NEVER came back to our table. And, was basically right across from us. So, no refills. No, 'how's your food"? NOTHING. We had to finally walk over to ask if we could get our bill after waiting for her to get the hint that we were finished eating (it was a little while). When all she had to do was look over maybe 10' to see that. Not sure why the service was so bad, since there were maybe 4-6 other people in the place. She definitely needs to be retrained/have better people skills. It was on a Sunday afternoon. And, we were on the Root River Trail that afternoon.

Stopped here after a long hike, before heading back to our AirBNB. Food was excellent (chicken club was 👌). Also was able to restock our wine and liquor on the way out! Will be back if we’re ever in these parts again!

Great little spot! Salad bar was fun- classic Midwest. Service was pleasant. If visiting Houston, I recommend stopping by and trying it out ?
