We experienced concerning service during our recent visit that significantly detracted from what was otherwise a special celebration. Our server, who we believe was named Gwen, conducted herself in a manner we found unprofessional and unwelcoming. As long-time, very friendly, laid-back patrons, who have enjoyed dining at your establishment with friends and family for many years, we were disappointed by this experience. The interaction has left us questioning whether we can comfortably return, which is unfortunate given our history with your restaurant. We rarely feel compelled to leave critical feedback, but felt this situation warranted bringing to your attention. We hope you will address service standards with your staff to ensure other guests don't have similar experiences.

We walked in early afternoon for a bite. Kitchen was closed. The two waitresses sitting around told us if we wanted a drink, we needed to go up to the bar...it was obvious that our presence wasn't welcome, so we left and won't go back.

Last Sunday me, cutter, and Miles, decided to go up to blacksmith lounge in Hugo Minnesota. Are server was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. I had the horseshoe Burger which was perfectly cooked medium lots of flavor. Very good burger. Miles had the fish fish and chips and after he saw my burger he wished he would have ordered the burger. He did like his fish and chips though. Cutter had the broasted chicken and ribs Sunday night special he said it was excellent. The whole time we were there having dinner they were sending tons of to go food out the door. To go food is a big part of their sales. All in all a really good time at blacksmith lounge.

Excellent food and very reasonable

Me and my husband went and ate dinner here he had the broasted chicken and I had the deep fried shrimp,there meals are at a great price and get alot for your meal it was delicious. They have breakfast also and serve specials every day of the week. We will definitely go back here and eat dinner again 😋 great prices and service I highly recommend anyone to eat dinner here.was 1st time in many years since eating dinner here. Had a great time. They have a kids menu as well.
