The food was good, but very basic. The chicken fried chicken tasted like boxed potatoes and frozen chicken. The side salad was a great value! The hot beef commercial was huge as a full order, but not super hot and needed more salt and pepper. The service was amazing, especially since we came in 30 minutes before closing on a weeknight. We never felt rushed or like we were unwelcome. Although I got enough to eat, I wish they had more appetizers on the menu. Ample parking.

Getting less and paying more. Poor hours. Scam fees for using credit cards. Your fees are not your customers problems. Its part of doing business. Pay your own fees and pay your staff a real wage. Tips are earned on great service and are not a replacement for poor wages. This place is a shell of its former self.
Best home cooked choices in a friendly atmosphere in Hutchinson.

I tend to stick with their BLT. The bacon is especially delicious. The atmosphere is full of Irish charm

Definitely not a place I will request we go to. BLT came out with raw bacon and service was horrible

I had the country fried steak. Eggs were cooked correctly. The server was just attentive enough to get us what we wanted but not obtrusive. My wife's meal came with the best popover I have ever had, I got half of hers

Amazing food! When you first walk in it smells like Grandma's house. The wonderful smell of fresh cooked comfort food. The waitress was very kind, happy, and attentive. The restaurant is clean and well kept. I have no idea why it's taken us so long to eat here, but we will definitely be back!

I walked in & I was approached by an older woman rather quickly. She attempted to seat me. However, once I stated I would like to place a carry-out order.. she said she would be right back. She then went from table to kitchen to a different table to the kitchen multiple times without taking my order. She didn't notify anyone else to assist me. She sat a couple of people & seemed to ignore me for about 10 mins. Finally, a different young lady asked if I needed help & I placed an order.
Country fried chicken with mashed potatoes & vegetable w/a bread stick.
The portions were quite small for a dinner in relation to the price, in my opinion. The vegetable looked to be a tiny amount of canned green beans. The chicken portion was small, as well...similar to a McChicken sandwich patty in size. I thought they forgot the mashed potatoes at first because the portion was small & hidden under the chicken & gravy. The chicken, mashed potatoes & county gravy did taste good. There just wasn't enough for me for a $17 dinner & the service could be better.

Our server was great. Sorry I didn't catch her name. We had the shrimp platter with baked potato which was excellent. ? the pop overs were yummy. Definitely will return.
Parking: They were extremely busy so it was understandable that parking was limited.
