EDIT: This was a few months ago.
Although the food is usually fine, I ordered two large blizzards that required vanilla ice cream. They were out of vanilla, so they just used chocolate without consulting me, and they were awful. And then they wouldn't give me a refund for them after how bad they were. The food was incredibly sloppy, and the sauce and toppings were everywhere by the time we got it.

One of the few Dairy Queen locations where the soft serve ice cream is delicious and dense. Most of the other locations in the big cities are fluffed up with air. Here the product is excellent. Clean dining room with nice kids behind the counter. I found myself buying a lot of their soft serve. I will miss this location returning to Minneapolis suburbs. Don't change this item and thank you DQ!!!

Ordered online and when I got there they acted like they didn't know what I was there for, my food sat there for 10 minutes while the staff just visited with each other.

Made an excellent burger with nice toppings. Not like the slopped together fare you get at McDonald's.

I dislike Dairy Queen because their prices are really high! And, the last time I was there, I ordered only two meals, and it took them over 20 minutes to get it to me. I realized they just switched owners, but those new owners should know how to run a store during the dinner rush. I work in fast food and would never let anyone wait that long, unless it took that long to cook something they wanted; which no item at Dairy Queen takes that long to cook. I've worked at Dairy Queen before also. And when I have a customer waiting, I like to tell them that they're waiting for something and why. The problem with dairy queen, the last time I ordered was, they didn't tell me anything, I just stood there waiting for over 20 minutes.

I want to give a huge shout out to DQ for making my grandson one happy little boy. We ordered a DQ cake of Sonic for my grandson's 7th birthday and he was over the moon happy. Thank you for all you do for International Falls, you are appreciated more than you know.

Absolutely worst DQ I’ve ever been to my order took 10 minutes the first time for 4 chicken strips and some curds. They all had a terrible attitude messed up my order 3 times. DO BETTER YOU ARE GETTING PAID. No one wearing a hair net workers eating in front of me. And many other people in line. For a door dash order. Very piss poor place.

By far the worst DQ and worst fast food place ever..... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOYEES. Rolling eyes. I can deal with the expensive prices whatever. But for every employee plus the manager on duty to be down right rude that's it. Find a new job if you hate it that bad....... deserves zero stars..

I love the food! The staff is very kind and generous. The atmosphere is kind of dull, but it can't always be perfect. I always go there, and it gets better every time, and last time, they got a new drink machine, which is very cool.

We stopped in this afternoon to place a to-go order before leaving town. We do not live in International Falls and options for lunch were limited to choose from before heading out.There was 1 person taking orders when we entered and with in a couple minutes another employee named Aubree opened a register and asked to take our order. She seemed annoyed that she had to take an order and then gave the attitude that she wanted us to "hurry up and just order". Our order consisted of 2 combo meals and we substituted our beverage for a blizzard. Our order came to $37!! When she said the total due, we were shocked and we questioned the fact it was really $37. Again, with an annoyed attitude, she said yep with a face that was clear she didnt care. We stated how that was approximately $10 higher than another DQ we've been to, and she just shrugged.We paid the total, she walked away to the drive up window, and she must've heard us talking. She came back and asked if we wanted a receipt, of course we said yes. She printed it off and rudely handed it to us then walked away. We stood to the side waiting for our order, we watched the food get made and then sit there for a bit. She walked by it a couple times then eventually stopped, placed the food in a bag, and hastily handed it to us. We collected our food and left, vowing to never stop her again. $37 for subpar fast food!? We won't make that mistake twice. Just for comparison- Culver's would've cost us between $21 to $25 depending on meals and custard size.....and Culver's is a million times better than DQ!!1 of the blizzards was the new York cheesecake with strawberry. It tasted nothing like cheesecake and tasted everything like cinnamon and nutmeg or a fall flavor of something festive like gingerbread or similar. Needless to say, it was a disappointing flavor when you're expecting something else.Aubree is a very rude employee! I don't know her position or title, but she should go find a different job where she doesn't need to interact with or see people. The interior of the establishment was not clean (floors were dirty) and Attitudes sucked!!This visit and transaction deserves 0 stars but since there is not a 0, we had to mark 1 star (that's too generous).Skip stopping here, find another business to support. And if International Falls and other small towns want to keep their business/doors open....stop screwing over the patrons. People will stop coming and spend their hard earned money somewhere else! We made a mistake to stop here once, we will not stop again and never make another purchase at this DQ location.
