great food, great employees nice atmosphere
If you really want german food, it will hit the spot. We only went here because my favorite german restaurant closed down after 55 years. Just keep in mind it's a bar/sports bar, not an actual "restaurant".

Waitress kept disappearing. There were only four other diners. We waited 17 minutes to get menus. I needed a new fork because the one I was given had bent tines, and I had to wait almost 10 minutes before she she showed up again. I was never offered a refill on my ice tea, and I couldn't find her to ask for one. We also waited a long time for the check. It was disappointing since their food was good.

Order a Wienerschnitzel and watched in front of me Asparagus burning in front of me. Have never seen a Wienerschnitzel served with Asparagus. So after watching the cook leave the cooking area and the Bartender see the burning Asparagus and do nothing about it. I was later served breaded pork, "not a Wienerschnitzel" with Asparagus. Plus they serves it with Mushrooms in a Brown Gravy, That would be a Jagerschnitzel! The bread that the cook put on the same spot where the Burnt Asparagus was smelled and tasted BURNT. And what ever the Potato like salad smelled also burnt.
It can't be hard to Google a Picture of a Wienerschnitzel! Breaded Pork beated down flat served with French Fries and Lemon wedges.
Don't serve Burnt food. EVER! And don't walk away while cooking. EVER! And learn what the dishes are the you are trying to serve, ALWAYS!

Wunderbar! This place is amazing! I highly recommend all of the German food, and their house beer as well!
I used to frequent Bierstube in IGH . I haven't been there for about 5 years until today. I was ashamed of how awful the booths and seats were.. the seats had holes in them that were taped and butt marks that made your butt and back sore. I had to sit in a wooden chair. Even the waitress commented on how bad the seats were. Also, the table top was so tacky from being old... it was untouchable... I will not be going back there any time soon until they put some capital into new booths and seats.

Great local place. We ordered the all you can eat fish. An issue arose when we asked for more fish because it was after Easter. My friend pointed out that on the laminated menu that it stated, "all you can eat". She would "go check". We were offered 2 more pieces. Waitress was wonderful and very attentive. Over $50 for 2 meals and 2 drinks. Seemed on the high side.
Parking: The main lot was full but there are other businesses sharing the lot. We lucked out and someone was leaving. The bar itself was pretty empty.

Love this course. It was my first visit. Beautiful design, nice clean greens. Very well maintained. I only played the executive 9 hole and will play the 18 championship course tmrw morning. I'll be back with an update on that.Cons: It's super hard to book with the anniversary membership. I can't speak for walk ons or platinum members. I could tell the staff was a bit frustrated, being it was opening day. It was crowded.

Service was pretty bad but I'm very forgiving of any Minnesota bar/restaurant with wood paneled walls and a pulltab counter, especially when they have delicious German food.

Had a Reuben sandwich was disappointing. They used to use a lot of meat. For $13, you think they can stack it high. Also, the bread wasn't toasted. The bartender/server was nice.
