Carbone's Pizzeria

We ordered a pizza for dinner last night. I called around 6:30 and asked for it to be delivered. They told me 30 to 35 minutes. I gave him my information to pay for it and sat down to watch TV before it came. 35 minutes came and went and around 7:30 I called to inquire about the pizza. The guy I spoke to was very rude/snotty about it and said the usual delivery time is 40 minutes. I said I was told 30 to 35 minutes and that it was way past that and was also past the 40 minutes. He said, well our delivery driver was out making deliveries and will be showing up to my house. I said well ok. He then hung up the phone didn’t even ask my name or address. Nothing. About 5 to 10 minutes later someone showed up with the pizza. When I opened the box, not only was it burnt, it looked like it was just thrown in the box, pieces were upside down and on top of each other and it wasn’t even hot. It was lukewarm at best. I had to warm it up in the microwave before I could eat some of it. It looked like it had been sitting out on a counter for awhile before it was delivered. The same thing happened to me the time before when I ordered from them. It wasn’t late, but it was burnt and it had slid to one side of the box. I thought that was just a fluke and that’s why I ordered last night. Well, it wasn’t a fluke. I won’t be ordering from them again. Horrible. Under done pizza and waiting over an hour. Called to complain and asked if we ate it, said yes and was told oh well. No refund, no offer to remake, nothing. Do NOT recommend them. When we picked up the pizza, it was sitting in a delivery bag. Many, many years of pizza and this is the worst. Just sad.

Carbone’s has been a great experience for the last 3 years for us but tonight something was off about the two pizzas we ordered. One was a build your own and it was flavorless. The pizza sauce was there but had no flavor. The other pizza was the gyro pizza. It didn’t come with the Greek sauce on the side like the menu says and also was over cooked. Very disappointing tonight when trying to enjoy a cozy birthday night.

I had called to get a delivery at the Inver Grove Carbone's and did not realize that they di not deliver to the address that I was at, instead of explaining it to me they stated that they did not need my business and hung up on me and when I called back to make sure my order was cancelled they hung up on me again. This is by far the worst treatment I have ever had at any restaurant I would never refer anyone here and strongly advise them to make a different choice.

I love this carbones I have been coming here specifically since I was 16, I am 41 now.

Before the art work changed we had post it notes behind the art work , we would add to it everytime we came. That’s when I lived in Japan and Oklahoma- US Navy. When we visit home we go to IGH carbones.

I live in cottage grove now and there used to be
4 carbones over that way through woodbury, Newport, cg, etc and I still will come to IGH for this carbones.

The only one I fear might top this one is Bloomington Minneapolis- over by the military base.

My pizzas are usually always perfect from IGH

It’s a low key dining experience - no need for drama it’s just IGH carbones yummmy

This place has the worst service you've ever seen. Not to mention the prices are different from the Web site to what your told it costs when you call. The place is also in need of a health inspection because its filthy and proper health guidelines and food handling are not followed. The Owner will go clean up diarrhea from his dog at home then come back not wash his hands and fix your sandwich with no gloves or hair net. He likes to stick his fingers in your pizza too to test how well its done then lick his finger and go make someone else's sandwich.
