Charley Cat Chicken

Horrible service, waited over an hour or an online order of a chicken sandwich and chicken fingers and the place wasnt even busy at all. Got home and they forgot the half of the order and the only part of the order we did actuallyget was undercooked chicken. Went back again and the staff was hardly apologetic. Worst part is this is the SECOND time this has happened here. There is no reason to eat here!

Charley Cat Chicken is now apparently Mallard's. It was quite good even though distinctly different from what I was expecting. I had the Korean meatball appetizer, followed up by the jambalaya. Big flavors. Did NOT disappoint!

Food was not good tasted funny bread was a soggy only toast one side. Took over an hour from time of order, hard to find its in mallards restaurant. I recommend going to raising canes way

This was our first visit to Charlie Cat Chicken. This is located inside Mallard's restaurant and is their ghost kitchen, so be aware if you're looking for signage! There's a small sign by the door for take-out orders. We ordered two chicken sandwiches. The quality of the chicken was very high, and they were both very tasty!

Ordered the Southern Chicken Sandwich. It was raw in the middle and burned on the breading at the same time. Super disappointed, luckily I got it through Doordash so I got a refund. But I'm turned off chicken in general for a while.However - the pickles that came on top of the sandwich were so good. I figured they were safe to eat still.

Charlie Cat is located inside of Mallards restaurant. No signage indicating this so I drove around for a bit before I called. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The spice level is up there so if you don’t like really spicy, don’t get Nashville. The heat flavor is peppery with a hint of sweetness. The chicken is fried to perfection and has a nice crunch for texture. It holds up to the sauces accompanying it. The bun a is nice quality. The coleslaw adds a necessary sweetness. Overall I would say this sandwich is 7-8 out of 10.

This takeout location is so underrated. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is a definite must try for anyone who enjoys a good chicken sandwich. I'd put this sandwich up against any other chicken sandwich. The chicken fingers are also great. I didn't really care for their wings or the fries, though. The wings flavor is ok, but it seems like the dry rub seasoning is too powdery, and it either gets "cakey" with the oils or just leaves a dusty texture. The fries and cole slaw are also terrible. there's no need to beat them up with details, just bad fries and coleslaw, imho. But I will keep coming back for that awesome Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and that "come back sauce".

Fantastic chicken, will be back probably too often!!Update: I don’t know what happened to this place but it’s starting to slide. I still love their chicken but they are skimping wherever they can. Ordered two sides of fries and this pic is one of them, the other wasn’t much more. Additionally the past 5 times our order has been wrong. Not kidding, we check the order every time now before we leave the building. One time they completely forgot one of the meals and they said they couldn’t do anything because the order was through Door Dash. Really loved this place but find ourselves seldom returning due to the pile up of issues. Hope they can take this feedback and make some changes.

It’s a GHOST KITCHEN!!!! It’s actually just mallards and on top of that it’s a hot mess service wise. Put in my order at 11:45 am and get a confirmation saying to pick up at 12:00. I get there at 12 and find out it a ghost kitchen. I walk in go to the pickup window and the hostess asks for my name I give it and she goes to the kitchen. Doesn’t say anything to me when she walks out I assume they are working on it. Time pasts and another person asks and same thing happens. This happens again. At 12:15 the fourth person asks and they actually check. Turns out they haven’t even rung in my order and it will be another 10 minutes to get my order.

Upon arrival, I learned this was no actual establishment but seemed to be a ghost kitchen. Still gave it a chance. Regret is setting in...Got chicken tenders w/ soggy, undercooked "toast," and bland sauce for myself. (Southern fried chicken)A messy, BBQ chicken sandwich for my husband, which was also rather bland.And a side of two burnt, sour pieces of toast.Pro: chicken was not dry and the seasoning of the batter was alright!I will go to Raising Cane's next time I get the craving.

Believe it or not, this place is actually INSIDE the red lobster.

Service was kinda weak— no greeter, long wait, etc…

I would give zero stars if I could. I wS enticed by the website not explaining it was a ghost kitchen. On the website. I show up to Mallards and am told it's only to go stuff for charley cats.
