Excellent sushi, great little restaurant! We ordered several rolls and sashimi, and it was all tasty. Generous portions and cuts of fish. The fish was fresh. Pricing was average.Parking: Parking behind the restaurant

I ordered the dinner hibachi filet mignon with scallops, spicy snow mountain sushi, and tempura ice cream for dinner. Everything was delicious but there was just one problem. The filet mignon was very tough. It was either very overcooked or not filet mignon at all and a cheap cut of steak was used.

Went here with family to try it compared to Osaka/other Hibachi places. Energy was well, but our server seemed not interested in any conversation we had even though it was not busy at all. The soup and salad were good. The noodles were bland and definitely did not seem good at all; whole family agreed. The steak was good, and the shrimp was freezer burnt. The fried rice was good. The chicken was overcooked, but they gave her new chicken and it was much better. They even gave us a $5 discount along with free dessert that was delicious! Strawberry ice cream with fried cheesecake! I do not like cheesecake and it was amazing!!!May come back possibly but unsure. Was happy they understood but was extremely disappointed that both staff seemed not talkative or interested besides just to get us in and out when it wasn’t busy nor near to closing time.

I would give 5 starts to this place if wasn’t the 2 hours wait for our sushi’s.The only waitress on that night was doing everything she could , was not her fault. The sushi’s are very tasty and good price.I probably will go back probably not in a Friday night.

Sat at the empty bar for 20 minutes without being spoken to, then I left.

My family and I stop here about once a month. It’s one of the few sushi places close to Hastings. Today was just my son and I. As always, the food and service was great. Love their selection and variety.

This is my favorite spot for dining infor sushi. They always have great deals and lunch specials. Hands down the best Kani Salad on the market, it is always a must order. Staff is very friendly and attentive. They dont keep you waiting! Sushi comes out fast and always fresh. You can tell the quality of the ingredients used by the quality and flavor of the rolls! We always plan a lunch date at IWA when we are in the area. Food is great, the prices are good, definitely worth stopping in and grabbing a couple rolls, and dont forget the Kani salad!

The food was good but the service was terrible! Our waiter wasn’t good at his job and not personable at all. He didn’t smile once and acted like he didn’t want to be there. A family came in and was served before us while we were waiting and ready to order. He put the wrong food in front of the wrong people. We had to get up and get our own silverware and napkins. Had to ask twice for chopsticks after our sushi already came. You also have to buy the dinner size hibachi on Sunday and it is SO much food! I get they don’t have lunch specials on Sunday, but they should have at the very least a lunch version with less food that’s maybe a bit more money than the special. Parking was in the back and you had to use the side entrance. Overall, food was good but service is what really makes a place for me. Due to the service, this is not a place I would come back to.
