Everyone at our table loved their food. So flavorful and beautifully presented. Quick and polite service.
Very good food. Plenty of choices all of which looked very good. We got the pound of crab and it was great. Our other choices were excellent as well. Great service. All-in-all, a very nice evening at a very nice restaurant.
We've been eating at Mallard's since it opened and I am sad to say the food quality has declined. My dinner was tasteless any my husband's dinner was just ok--rather bland. Also, there were a LOT of unruly and noisy kids in the restaurant--and there were several patrons besides us who were not too happy. We used to really enjoy this restaurant, but not any more.
Food is always good. Group really enjoyed the lobster bisque—not too creamy like so many are served — lobster quiche (nice and light and fluffy with salad good offset to it), Jambalaya with perfect level of seasoning. Fish and chips, always good as was the lobster roll, loaded with lobster. Only grits were a bit disappointing — not much flavor.
I've had many meals at two of the Mallards locations and they are always excellent. One of my go to places for a good meal!
Food was very good. I got walleye and it was a bony one, but not the kitchen's fault. It was prepared very well. The backend salmon, that my husband had was delicious. The two greatest things about Mallards is the value and the service. Servers are so gracious and kind.
Very good brunch. Smaller menu but something for everyone at our table. Service was great.
Our group of six had a wonderful dinner at Mallard's in Inver Grove Heights. We all ordered different menu items from fish, to chicken and salads. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Allowed in Rocco's Friday night. Food was good and the service was great but it was hard to have a conversation because of the noise level. we can always count on good food.
Great dinner. Shrimp dinner for me and salmon for my wife. Service was wonderful and great happy hour drinks!

They were out of the Lobster Roll that I went for. Very frustrating. The walleye and chips were good, just not what I went for.
Loved my French toast. Delicious! I did not like that they charged me for using my credit card.
I ordered the walleye sandwich and my server forgot the tartar sauce. She was so busy, it was difficult to get her attention to bring it. Walleye would have been much better with tartar sauce on the bun. My friend ordered the jambalaya and. I as jealous!
Our dinners were delicious! The lobster roll didn't disappoint. Our favorite was the corn fritters-we plan to get two orders next time! The service was outstanding as was our server, Joanne. We were happy with the selection on the menu. Highly recommend.
My husband and I had dined at Mallard‘s a month ago and had a less than stellar experience so the manager took the time to read our review and invited us to return. What a difference! We had a free day and decided to go for a late lunch and it was really quiet, which was delightful because we could hear each other speaking. Our waitress was very attentive and offered suggestions. The food was wonderful served up fresh and hot. I can't wait to come back.
