Da Boathouse Restaurant and Bar

Was up ice fishing stopped in for lunch. Awesome service and the fish basket and wontons were next to none. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Pretty much self serve ordering at the bar. Good food and great view of a harbor on Lake Mille Lacs.

We were the only ones there. Two of us. When we first came in, there was no one around. We were thinking maybe they were closed. Hung out a bit and were getting ready to leave and the wairess/cook/owner(?) came in. She was cordial. No complaints with service. The food though was not good. My husband said his chicken wings were the worst he ever had. Not sure how, he gets them naked! My chili was cold and tasteless. Very disappointing. My wings weren't the best but it could have been because I opted for the Da Boathouse seasoning. Not what I expected. Probably will not come back...at least for food.

Great place to stop for drinks, but whatever you do DO NOT order the fish. Came out cold and rock hard. Pretty terrible service, including the manager coming over and making sure we were offered more bad fish….

Onion rings were good, but mostly batter- very thin rings. Prices rather steep for this out of the water place, but it's a tourist area.

Food was good for a small bar. Service I would give a 3.5 little under staffed but overall good.

Went there for my bachelorette party our waitress was rude, they forgot my meal, the food was HORRIBLE. Would not recommend to anyone ever! The waitress swore at us she didn’t apologize for forgetting the food. She said we could split the check then didn’t and charged for things we didn’t get. Worst expirence I’ve ever had at a restaurant!!!! DO NOT GO HERE ?

Came here for a bachelorette and it was a terrible place. Waitress was very rude. Food was disgusting and cold and waited for 20 minutes to get a sauce on the side. Never asked for refills for our drinks. Asked if we wanted our bill all on one or separate and when we said separate she came back and said we can’t do separate which would have been nice to know before ordering. Don’t waste your time coming to this place very disappointing and disgusting service.

Terrible customer service, rude staff, tried to give the benefit of the doubt but the waitress became more disgusting throughout the night. Terribly disgusted that people in the customer service field could act this way. If you can’t smile and be kind you need a new job

Friendly staff. Nice shady spot (later in the day) out on the patio so we could enjoy the day and see the boats in the bay. Food was super tasty. Highly recommended

This was our first time here, I like to stop at restaurants on the water. We had the walleye dinner which was very good, I do recommend that. I ordered sweet potatoe fries and was given the sidewinder fries (possibly because I merely asked what they were) and while they were good, it wasn't what I asked for. I also had to go find the server and ask for the salad that came with the dinner. The green beans that were served with the dinner were not just plain but seasoned perfectly and were great.
We ordered drinks and the one that was brought to me (same server) was nothing like what we asked for. She did bring the correct drink and didn't charge for her mistake, so we were happy about that. There was a woman behind the bar that made a killer white Russian!
All in all we would go back and recommend tgis place to others, just watch that your order is complete and correct.

Parking: Not a big parking lot, but not much they can do about that, just know it may be hard to find an empty spot.
