Traveling through Jackson and stopped to eat at Kat’s and it was great!! I assume the owner was the one who waited on us and he was GREAT!! Talked to us and asked where we were from and was all around super guy!! Food was very good!! Pulled pork was excellent, Mac and cheese on top was awesome! Highly recommend stopping there!

We are first timers here. Our server was excellent and answered our questions about the menu. Food was well prepared, very good and freshly prepared. A gentleman who I believe was the owner stopped at the table and asked how our meal was. The young lady who was our server also checked on us. We will be back, and thank you.
I finally got to do takeout.I wish I had stopped in here a few times while I was in town.My phone service in Jackson sucks right in this downtown, so I couldn't stay to eat in.The restaurant dining was nice and clean.I had the grilled pork sandwich and fries. It was very good and most likely better if I had the opportunity to eat in. I did take the BBQ Mac and cheese with a corn bread side for lunch the next day. Even as a leftover, it was delicious.

The food was good. However when ording a pork chop in a restaurant I have always been given a choice of how it is cooked. In this case I was not and the pork chop was a little more done than I prefer. The service was great, and the theme was consistent. Visited at 1 pm and disappointed that ribs were already sold out.
