My sister and I decided to visit Rise and Grind instead of our usual coffee shop to try something new, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed with both the drinks and the food. It had been about a year since my last visit, and while I was glad to see they now use real eggs instead of the frozen ones from before, the overall experience still fell short.
For the prices they charge, I expected higher quality — especially when it comes to ingredients like avocado. The use of a pre-made guacamole spread instead of fresh avocado was disappointing. To make matters worse, my sister’s order was incorrect and her food was burnt; they used ham instead of bacon, and the croissant was overcooked.
As someone who appreciates good coffee, I’m surprised this place continues to charge premium prices for such underwhelming quality. The café’s aesthetic is definitely charming, but unfortunately, that seems to be its strongest feature.

I go once a week and everytime is great. Good food and I love the drink specials every month! Admittedly I always get the italian panini (so good btw) but everything else I've tried is also great! Staff is friendly and even knows my order! Music is great and all the local goodies are so nice to see! Thank you ladies!

We got a 16oz iced caramel latte and 20 oz iced dark chocolate mocha. We also got the gourmet grilled cheese with bacon. Both drinks were very tasty with a good ratio of sweetness to coffee. The grillled cheese was delicious and the perfect pick me up I needed on a drive home from a cabin. They also had tons of homemade goods for sale that were all natural and not full of harmful chemicals. Definitely want to stop by again!

As my incredible doggo has his yearly visits across the street at Kimball Vet Clinic, we noticed this adorable coffee shop! This is my absolute favorite place! We were recommended the Italian Panini (awesome!) also had the Raspberry White Chocolate Scone (best I’ve ever had) coffee is amazing! Also bought gifts for myself and others here! Looking forward to coming back! It’s worth the 1/2 hour drive!
