The salmon chowde and porkers were quite good. The chicken Caesar salad was edible. Food served quickly and was hot. Service was minimal. We had to ask for napkins with the soup and silverware for salad. All the dishes were still sitting on the table when we paid the bill, and the fly count was up to about ten. Our fault, in part, for eating Outside. I checked, she had three tables.
Hubby had the brisket burger and I had the pork/provolone dip sandwich. Both were awesome! Pork sandwich had wonderful flavor! Big sandwiches! Great service! Fish Boil tomorrow!
This little jewel sits on the banks of the Knife River providing a very relaxing dining experience. The prices a great for some good quality dinner. I had the walleye fillet and it was cooked perfectly. The other members of my party had the Superior Burger and the Club sandwich. Both enjoyed them. The fried cheese curds are a must!
Best fish and chips we have had in MN! The batter was spot-on to the batter we love in the UK. We also had a special of cranberry chicken salad sandwich which was delicious. We loved the bread it was on so much we purchased some from them!
Loved the veggie wild rice burger! Fries are awesome too. Very nice. We will be back!
Very friendly people, fantastic atmosphere, delicious food and beer! Really good fries. We loved it here!
The food was amazing! The walleye was not overly salted or overly fried like most eaterys. Additionally the staff where top notch (Knowledgeable, attentive, friendly).
Really good staff and pleasant setting. The smoked salmon chowder was good but the entrees were underwhelming and not particularly good. The open faced turkey was dry and the bread underneath was burnt. Also there were a lot of flies inside the restaurant but not on our table or near our food.
If you are staying in Two Harbors, you need to come here for dinner. We came on a Thursday in August and were seated immediately. Food and preparation are big city quality, and they have a decent variety of gluten free options. Both the building and Knife River have a long history . . . definitely a hidden gem.
The chicken salad sandwich on cranberry wild rice bread was excellent! Eating outside near the river was the cherry on top!

Bottom Line: We did not get what we paid for. Menu items were on the pricier side, which is not to say its a criticism in itself. I never mind paying more for a quality meal. However, the price did not match the quality. We were lured in by the delicious smells after visiting the candy kitchen. Cheese curds were ~$13. I have never tried a cheese curd I didn't like. These were super bland and the portion size was average. Where is the flavor? The chilli burger had lukewarm chilli that had canned chilli flavor though the menu described it as housemade. I paid the upcharge to have beer battered onion rings instead of fries. These were crunchy coated not beer battered and resembled the ore ida ones bought at the grocer. I had high hopes after all of the positive reviews but this experience was just a stinker. For the prices charged, food should be of much higher quality and taste.
We sure enjoyed eatting at Emily's! The place was built around 1929. It has a nostalgic seaside feel to the place with an eclectic arey of vintage tables and chairs. The food is always delicious. We stopped in for a lite lunch and orderd their seafood salmon cream soup. It was worth the trip up the shore on such a blustery cold day!
Terrific food and atmosphere. Pricey and small portions. If the portions were a little bigger it would be great!.
Doing a little mini honeymoon with my wife of 1 week and came to Emily's Eatery and got prompt service to our table. Food was really good. Wife had fish bites and fries from the appetizer and I had the knife river sandwich. Nice view of the river under the train tracks. Modestly price. Candy shop right across the road.
