Chicken tenders need more spice, very bland this time. Hard to get someone's attention for a refill on drinks. Food overall is good, just needs some attention on some of the foods that are bland. Hickory burger is awesome with the sauce, as is the smokey BBQ wings. Wings were slightly overcooked.

Swap out the bread on the grilled cheese and scrap the chicken tenders and you'll have a solid menu.

Tonight’s Bluff Slide dinner at the Jewel Golf Course!

We have eaten the Fish Fry Friday many times through the years, our experience on this visit ( other visits) having been a nine or ten, was unfortunately a four or five. All due to the quality of the food compared to previous visits. The last visit was about this time a year ago.
The breading on the fish was soggy and sliding off the Filet. The rice does not complement the fish and though its menu description is enticing, the reality is Boring!. I suggest a Lemmon rice with bite size broccoli florets and scallions. The tartar sauce was… well… ranch dressing? And the coleslaw was lying atop a puddle of dressing on the plate. Ugh! Three appropriately attired chefs in the kitchen gazing out upon the guests… They should be collaborating on their workmanship…We invited a couple to join us… I’m glad they didn’t! Yesterday, we took a large group of our residents to the Bluffside Grill at the Jewel and I would highly recommend dining there.
From the first communication with Travis to our lunch yesterday, service was exceptional. We were provided with a custom menu ahead of time with plenty of entrees to choose from and everyone ordered their meals individually upon arrival, prepared to their liking. Food and service was excellent, beverages were refilled, to-go boxes offered, and Travis visited each table ensuring that we were receiving top notch service. It was definitely worth the drive from Minneapolis and I recommend the Bluffside for any size group, family, or couple.

Your Bone-in Chicken Wings were mediocre at best because the batter was tough and hard.
The Chili with Sour Cream, Onions and Cheese was good. My Waitress, Missy, did a fabulous job serving me.

I guess I was expecting too much. Sat outside... beautiful night. Food was "ok". Got desert to go, and it was kinda pathetic. A little hockey puck of chocolate and...well I love chocolate, and I didn't finish it.

Awesome spot for lunch or breakfast. Beautiful views whether you sit inside or outside. The outside area is covered and stays fairly cool in hot weather. Everything we've tried has been great!

Parking: Plenty of free parking available in front of the clubhouse. Handicapped parking available as well.
