Such a great spot to enjoy a meal! And a fabulous gift shop, too. We were in town celebrating my sister's 60th birthday and we had a wonderful breakfast here. Our waitress was fun and friendly, and the food was excellent. We will definitely be back!!
We 3 ladies were headed home and we wanted to have a good breakfast before our 3.5 hours car ride north home. 9:15 A.M. We were promptly seated, out in the front glass porch. Thank goodness they had a heater going, all glass and it was cool, but the sunshine helped warmed it up too!! Our pleasant server brought us coffee and waters. We vacationed in Lake City for a few days and Chickadee Cottage was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. We had breakfast and lunch, food and service was great. Make a point of stopping in if you are either passing thru or staying in Lake City.
