We have eaten here many times for lunch and it’s always been top notch. Had heard they were going for an old fashioned vibe of a supper club on Saturday nights and wanted to give it a go. They have a special menu on Saturdays that includes one trip to salad bar with soup, your entree and a popover. Husband had prime rib with sweet potato and I had boasted chicken. We were seated promptly, but took a while for our server to make an appearance. Gave him our drink order and dinner order at the same time. After about half an hour husband asked server about our drinks. The drinks were brought to our table. The dinner entrees finally arrived after approximately an hour. Yes they were very busy. it’s leaf season in Minnesota. I understand having to wait. My husbands prime rib and sweet potato were cold, as was my sweet potato and beans. The chicken was very good, nice and hot. The popovers were heavy and dense. Not Kelly’s finest hour. I guess we will stick to lunch.

I thought the foot & service was okay. I had a Caesar salad. I expected romaine & got iceberg lettuce. Prices were a bit inflated for a lunch.

Great food and excellent service. The view….BEAUTIFUL! If you haven’t been to Kelly’s you are missing out. I highly recommend the pulled pork bbq sandwich, sooooo good. We will be back, the food was great and the lake is beautiful.

Fantastic! We arrived about 7:15 PM on a Thursday night. Rib special tonight!! We 3 ladies had a couple martinis and a margarita, very well done! We ordered 1/2 order of ribs, ribeye steak, boom boom shrimp. Each a nice cold crisp salad. Only problem, no baked potatoes, busy night. No bread roll, but we were given a cornbread muffin instead. Also, I was given a nice serving of the Brussels sprouts for my baked potato, YUMMY!! McKenna was our very nice, pleasant server. We enjoyed our evening. Cheers!
Terrible service. Took 10 minutes to get water, another 15 minutes to order. Food still hasn’t arrived 30 minutes after ordering. Tables left dirty for 30+ minutes. Plenty of staff but horribly inefficient. Everyone running around like headless chickens. Very poor management. Food finally arrived after 35 minutes. Just OK but not worth the wait. Sad that a restaurant with such a beautiful setting is so poorly run.

Friday night. Food is fine - nothing special but up to expectations I suppose. But the poor servers. They are so young and so overwhelmed. None of the service problems are their fault but the management here is a total disgrace. Whoever runs it should be fired and they need a complete overhaul.

People are great, Drinks fine ! Venue is lovely. However the Chef has no idea of plate appearance. First, Salmon Dinner - A dry piece of salmon on a bed of over burned Brussel sprouts, topped with a dark glob of Carmelized onions with bacon. The taste had no positve combination. Appearance zero! The walleye dinner crucified the filet of fish, the yellow covering had no taste except pepper., overwhelming the seafood. Very disappionted with the food . Change Chef, rather the Cook, A Chef does better. Will return but just for a drink. No food, unless someone else in the kitchen.
