Heart of America Co, located next door to the Holiday Inn & Suites, offers a Sunday buffet with a variety of breakfast and lunch items like eggs, bacon, prime rib, and lasagna. Although the salad bar was decent and the pineapple was great, the desserts were average. The buffet was pricey at $22.99 per person, and drinks were not included. The food was not very hot, and the experience was marred by being seated too close to a large family group. In contrast, a visit to the restaurant for a la carte items like baked potato soup, beef brisket, and apple dumpling with ice cream received positive feedback for delicious food and excellent service. Overall, generous portions and friendly staff make Heart of America Co a place worth returning to.
