We have known Star for a few years from Marx & was pleasantly happy to be able to see her continue with what she knows best. Always such a joy to see her.

We met friends for dinner around 4:30 and they seated us in a booth. Servers were very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was very pleasant.
As the evening went on and more guests arrived, the noise level went up considerably, and by 6:00 we could not even hear each other speaking.
It's very small, and there are a lot of tables. The walls are hard surfaces so sound is amplified.
The prices are somewhat high, but the portions are enormous, so there's plenty left over for lunch. The food was wonderful, and we probably will be back.

Excellent food! Scratch kitchen. Friendly staff. Personally, I highly recommend the salmon. So much flavor and topped with a crab cake. Be sure to make reservations. Enjoy!

I’m a tough sell on most restaurants but this place was amazing. Everything was great, and what for me would normally be a strange combination (scallops, guacamole, gravy?, and beats) somehow worked perfectly. Hidden gem, will definitely go again. Best food I have had in the Stillwater and Lake Elmo area in the four years I have lived here.

Excellent food and fun atmosphere. We ordered a few apps and entrees and they were all delicious. Highly recommend the scallops! Service was good as well - we did had to wait a bit for our food, but we didn’t mind given it was a date night.

Wonderful service, food and drinks; however, after making a reservation for 4 online well in advance, it was a bit unwelcoming upon hearing immediately after being seated that we had 90 minutes to order our drinks, order and eat our food and get out. I wanted to ask if there would be a “warning” alert half way through so we would be able to hurry and finish if need be. This certainly takes away from the feeling of an enjoyable, relaxing evening out with friends for dinner.

It has been a long time since I have left a restaurant and LOVED everything about the experience. Service was great from the start, so many great cocktails and mock tail options, food menu is full of delicious options. Our table had a variety of seafood, steak and pasta and EVERYTHING was to die for. We are so excited to have this as an option (near by) and can’t wait to go back!! Keep up the great work. Reservations are a must and easy to do online. Bar is big and beautiful which is a great option as well.

We had a reservation. They kicked us out as soon as we hit our 90 minutes at our table and told us that the next group was waiting for our table. There were 4 open tables and nobody waiting. We were eating and drinking. I don’t really get it. Food was good but we didn’t finish and we were planning to order more.
