The spicy chicken is amazing. They give a massive portion with rice included.

I’ll tell you what. We tried this place last summer and I liked it a lot. We figured we’d try takeout and the food was not as good. My pho broth was bland. No seasoning. Loved the bowl it came in. Egg rolls were burnt and oily. I’m disappointed. Your pho game needs to be on point and it’s not. Probably will not be on the list for restaurant selection. I really wanted to like this place.

Probably the best pho I've ever had, including St Paul and anywhere in Woodbury no doubt. So fresh and full of herbs. The broth was perfect! Someone complained that it was expensive and there was trickery in the pricing. I didn't have a problem figuring out the price at all, and it was not overpriced for the amount and quality received. We will definitely be going back very soon. Our server was very friendly and helpful as well.

Tried for the first time tonight. Lady running the counter was extremely welcoming and wanted to support a new local spot. VN special wings and Pork Bahn Mi were both great! Super fair prices too. Will be back

Me and the hubby stopped by for a random date. Super fast service! Also super nice! The broth for the Pho was amazing! It was very flavorful, it really didn’t need anything added. Although Im a sucker for chili flakes and the bean sprouts. It’s a cozy small spot. Oh and they have super cool bowls for the Pho! Never seen a bowl with a ceramic lid that doubles as a tray for the fresh additives! I will be coming back again to try some of the other options on the menu in the future.

Not just best Vietnamese food but Best Asian food on the east side of the twin cities by far and I’ve been to a lot! Their egg roll and cream cheese wontons are the exact same as state fair! Will be my go to spot from now on!

Have you ever wanted to build your own pho bowl and get robbed at the same time? Well, look no further—this is the place for you. A bowl of pho starts at $10 and comes with no meat. If you’re someone who likes all the meat options, prepare your wallet because it’ll cost you at least $3 per meat topping.

Some reviews claim the portions are “generous.” If you have the appetite of a small child, sure—maybe. For everyone else, good luck.

And don’t forget the watered-down broth. Absolutely no flavor. I’ve had cups of hot water with more personality.

Craving Thai tea? Well, if you enjoy the taste of watered-down soy milk, you’re in luck. You can either buy an actual $2 can of soy milk, or pay $5 for their “Thai tea,” which is basically the same thing but in a plastic cup.

To be fair, the egg rolls and the pork bánh mì were good—but not good enough for the price. Honestly, you’re better off driving a couple miles to Ha Tien and getting a real bánh mì there.

I didn’t try the other dishes, but this place also makes you “build your own” fried rice, pad thai, lo mein, stir-fry, and bún. At this point I’m surprised I didn’t have to clock in and start cooking in the back.

The staff didn’t help the experience either. A group of employees sat right next to us, glued to their phones and lounging around like they were hanging out at home—not working in a small dining area with customers.

All that said, I genuinely don’t understand how this place has a 4.8-star rating. It doesn’t deserve it.

The Experience Review

I tried the chicken Pad Thai and it was absolutely delicious. This is honestly the best Vietnamese restaurant I know. The flavors are fresh, authentic, and perfectly balanced. I also highly recommend the pho , it is incredibly flavorful and comforting. Every time I come here, the quality is consistent, and I always leave happy. I truly love this place and recommend it to anyone looking for amazing Vietnamese food.
