My experiences here haven't been positive. While the atmosphere might appeal to regulars, the pricing seems disproportionate to the quality of the food offered. The prices are inflated, for example, $4 for a coffee or soda seems excessive. The food isn't anything special. Beyond the food, I also observed some concerning hygiene practices. I witnessed a busser handle clean silverware and napkins immediately after clearing a table without washing hands. I also observed a server use the glass itself to put ice into it, which is discouraged to minimize contamination.

Food wasn't very good. Service was horrible, we sat for almost 15 minutes without anyone saying anything to us. We would have left but we're meeting friends. The food was so so but for the price I wasn't impressed. We won't be going back.

My sister chose this restaurant to host her son’s wedding rehearsal dinner. They opted for a custom Mediterranean style meal as the owner’s are from that part of the world. It was amazing! They are such wonderful people, and the place is so uniquely American diner, I was blown away by the meal! It was so authentic! We opted to eat breakfast there a couple days later before our flight home. The owner remembered us and met us with such warmth, appreciation and affection. The breakfast was as good as it gets! The chipped beef is the best ever! They use corned beef and it was the best. My Gyro meat breakfast skillet was awesome as well. The service was wonderful and it was no surprise why they are so busy. They do it right!

The lady who served us appeared to not want to do her job that day. Upon delivering our food, she already had our bill ready to be dropped off as she brought our food out. There was nothing spectacular about the food, the service or the atmosphere. The owner was sitting at the first table by the door, he too, was also not interested in having us as their customer. We thanked them every time we received our drink and our food, but the server quickly walked off ignoring us never responding to us saying thank you.

I live at the Spero apartment building and we order in here once a month for whoever in the building wants to attend! I have to say their food is just wonderful, especially the Swedish meatballs! I have never had better and they also have big portions of their meals! 5 stars and more for sure!
