A local favorite for years, this charming walk-up ice cream stand delivers delicious treats for fair prices. Open in the afternoon/evening in Spring, Summer, and Fall, it's a popular downtown Lakeville meet-up spot that's great for families. In the last couple of years they've streamlined their menu (almost all deserts now) and brought in hand-scooped ice cream by "The Chocolate Shoppe", which is fantastic stuff. They also serve soft-serve in many forms, all of which are tasty. I've sampled a number of their malts and shakes -- they're a delicious nostalgic time-warp to bygone days. Be prepared for some waiting -- the line leading to the single ordering window can stretch to the curb on hot summer nights. Then it can be another 5 - 10 minutes of waiting for them to fulfil the order, which you pick up at the opposite window. Mercifully, there are a number of picnic tables to sit at and there is a playset with swings and a slide that the littles just love.So, if you're not in a hurry and are looking for a delicious home-grown treat, you could do a lot worse than Dairy Delite.

It was a good place but the music playing loud outside had way too many F bombs and yelling about other things not kid friendly.

We've been frequenting Dairy Delite since my kids were in preschool. Now they are adults and we still love it!! The snowstorm is a family fave. I like the Kitty Kitty Bang Bang ice cream. So many great tasting treats! The best place to celebrate after a baseball/soccer/lacrosse/football any-ball game.

Love this place in downtown Lakeville. Great quality ice cream, thick shakes, crunchy waffle cones. Expect a line all summer, this place is popular. The customer service from the young staff has always been excellent, they handle quite a lot of customers every night.
Fantastic staff, great selection. Constant lines but service is quick. Worth the little bit of wait.

Awesome spot away from corporate America. Support local and their ice cream was better anyways!! First time there and I wouldn't hesitate to come back anytime we end up in that area!

We happened to be in the area and saw Dairy Delite was having their opening weekend so we decided to stop by.They have a cute little swing set area and a ton of picnic tables nearby to enjoy your cool treats!We ordered a root beer float, junior scoop of mint chip, and a two scoop waffle cone of one of their specialty flavors called sticks & stones (Soft cookie dough chunks, crunchy chocolate covered pretzels, and a gooey salted caramel ripple). Everything was so delicious and refreshing!They were pretty busy, nothing better than some ice cream to cool off on a hot day! The staff were very friendly and our treats came out super quick. Price was average and about what you would expect, portions were good. The only downside is they didn't have umbrellas at their picnic tables, and on a sunny day like today those shady areas are a hot commodity! This area has so many different dining options from breweries to burgers and pizza as well as little specialty shops. Make a day of it -- have lunch then stop over for some delicious creamy treats! We will definitely come back over the summer!
