What is it going to take to sit down with the gas station manager and have them get their act together and maintain a car wash?
Your store/car wash was just built in 2016, and yet the car wash is CONSTANTLY broken. It's not the cold weather most of the time. Year round, on any given day, there's 1-2 broken bays blocked off with cones, especially the touchless bays, which are the only ones I will use. Bay #1 has currently had a cone outside of it - once again - for 1.5 weeks. Just go to bay #2 you say? Well, nice idea, but bay #2 hasn't worked right for about literally 6 years. I've told your car wash people this multiple times and it never gets fixed. It doesn't matter how many times bay #2 is broken for other reasons, whenever the tech comes out and "fixes" it, they must not verify actual functionality afterwards.
Please, store manager - get with your gas station manager and go through bay 1 and bay 2 immediately back to back with the most expensive wash and it will be completely obvious how poorly bay 2 functions. It has been this way for YEARS.
But for real, why can't your gas station manage a car wash? I realize it is a severe duty system, but it's designed for...severe duty. The downtime on your car washes is insane and nobody there cares and it shows. I wouldn't bother writing yet another crap review for it because I'd rather just go elsewhere, but this is a car wash desert and I refuse to go through bay #2 under any circumstance anymore and I'm tired of bay #1 being broken, or the other classic is it's constantly out of chemicals...so even when it doesn't have a cone blocking it, there's a good chance it won't work anyway.
The worst part of all of this is you jacked up the price $2, did nothing and never have done anything to fix the wash functionality, but yet covered the algae and mold growing on the walls with white panels...maybe you should invest in the actual functionality of the car wash instead. Maybe it's time for an entirely new system.
Oh and your store is way overpriced, and super effing cluttered. Stop selling trinkets nobody asked for, stop with the cringe right wing politics, stop wasting customers' money on Indy car sponsorships, and just go back to selling food. Make some space in your store to actually push carts past one another instead of cluttering every open space with a pallet of crap. At this point, the only thing I set foot in here for is the meat counter because literally everything else sucks and is a terrible experience with Lunds and Byerlys prices to go with it.
EDIT: A week later and bay #1 is still broken (3 straight weeks now) and now bay #3 is also broken. Hyvee doesn't give a damn.

My car keeps was spit on 2 weeks ago. They checked cameras and confirmed and the called cops It happened again today and when I called the customer service desk the same lady Chris acted like I was a big pain in the rear and to call the cops again I’m starting to wonder if it is an employee Be nice To know so if I go to eat here I don’t order food Yikes Poor handling of the issue
The store has basically everything but you really have to shop and look to compare prices there way high on something and average on others I do like their bratwurst that are out of the thing and just flat my wife and daughter like those two
