Stopped in last night to check out the new ownership, menu, and remodel!
The remodel looks fabulous! I ordered the cowboy burger and fries, which was excellent by the way! It came out within 10 minutes of ordering, so the service was fast during the dinner hour.
Such an interesting menu for the Red Fox. Love the variety of items you would not expect from its original American Flare.
Keep it up! I will definitely be back soon! đ

Had appetizer smoked elote wasnât given enough chips to finish the dip so asked for more and they brought more (a lot more than needed) but failed to mention that there was $3 charge!
Ordered the beet salad. Came with spring mix , red onion and beets maybe a cherry and goat cheese. It was very plain and blah for $13.50
My husband ordered the âwoodfireâ ribeye. Came out looking like it was microwaved, no grill marks very chewing and lots of grizzle. Very blah in flavor, he asked for horse radish to give it some flavor and they charged another $1 for a tiny amount.
The old fashions well letâs just say go anywhere else and youâll get an old fashion for your money. Here it was barely covering the bottom of the glass.
Prices are outrageous for what you get and the food is mediocre at best. Hopefully this is just growing pains but first impressions are everything especially when this isnât your first restaurant. I say good luck to keeping business around. This could be a little gold mine, but you may want to read the room (surrounding restaurants)before setting prices like that for the terrible food and drinks and service was definitely lacking.

A tradition ends today. I grew up cutting down a Christmas tree down the road and then lunch at Red Fox. Wife and I attempted this same tradition with our kids. Last year we were unimpressed with Red Fox but figured we'd give it another shot. Terrible experience today.
They could figure out how to turn the Vikings game on; this is a sports bar mind you.
It took 45 minutes for a kids mac and cheese, adult burger, tater tots and chicken fingers. However we never received our chicken fingers. We left hungry and very disappointed and ended up at McDonald's down the road to complete our lunch.
Sadly a tradition that has lasted decades ends today and we won't be back to Red Fox tavern

This place was awful. We waited 20+ minutes just for drinks and the place was near empty. My drink came in a visibly dirty cup. Kids hot chocolate was cold. Our waitress seemed frazzled and clueless, she said we couldnât order lunch but the table next to us ordered lunch. The food was cold and not good. We wonât go back or recommend this place.

Very slow service waited over 15 mins for our drinks , and anthoer 15 for our app. Food was undercooked and never received side salads with our meals , couldnt even get our side salads because it would if taken another half hour to get it. Very disappointing when you spend almost 100 for this meal. Would if had better service and quality of food and McDonald's. Zero stars for this place.

This is a very relaxed, casual spot. Perfect for a drink and a laid-back meal. Prices are reasonable and there are plenty of interesting choices on the menu.

It's a great country dive bar The food's great for a hole in all and t he service is phenomenal. It would be really great if they served a light beer besides something made by Anheuser-Busch Yes I'm still in protest about them honoring a guy who thinks he's a woman that's not right and until they figure that out I won't go back to their beer even though I did drink it all the time before this
Unknown about food - Iâm now sitting at Baldys in lakeville - had a waitress attention before I sat down - I had earlier tried to dine at red fox - sat in middle of bar area 10 min - waitress finally entered seatting area - for how busy they were she spent a unusually long time chatting with table next to me - then checked on other patrons and then disappeared again - I waited another few minutes and then left - Im am waiting on my food and have consumed my second beer - hope to have few more while watching the wolves play - $60.00 red fox didnât get from me - good luck to ya if ya try em

We went here on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Our server, Millie, was great! She was friendly and attentive. We each had a waffle and they were delicious. When you order an entree for breakfast, you receive a free cocktail from a list. Nice perk. Also, it was BOGO, buy one entree, get one half off. Our total bill, including coffees and cocktails, was less than $25. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a new place for breakfast.

Great staff with a clean atmosphere and seating, but absolutely awful food. My eggs were dry, room temperature and rubbery. My hash browns were cold and resembled mashed-potatoes instead of hash browns, and my bacon was floppy and wet. I could see this is a watering hole for the locals and the place seems super-fun and well-kempt (seriously, the floor freaking shines), but it is NOT a place you should stop to eat a proper meal like I tried to.
