Small, fox themed diner. It is family owned and peaceful. While they only take cash (undoubtedly due to the increasing rates credit card companies are charging small businesses), there is an ATM down the street. The food was amazing, made fresh just for you! And I loved our little waitress earning her allowance from her mom!
My daughter and I ate lunch here after driving for hours and not finding other options. We walked in and exchanged a glance that showed we agreed our expectations would be low. We were happily surprised. We both ordered burgers. They arrived hot, were hand-formed patties on fresh bakery buns, crisp lettuce, thick slices of tomato, pickles on the side. (The fries were super thin and not very good.) For a decent burger in a small town that makes you feel like you stepped back in...
Breakfast at Roxy’s...sausage biscuits with gravy were delicious, French toast with bacon was awesome, too. Coffee was just right, and CAD accepted at par. Left a fair tip, and we’ll be back. A little gem, close to our property in Gardenton.
