Started my drive today from Minnesota to Florida and my first stop was Lanesboro MN. Found this cute little café called Pedal Pushers Cafe I’m sitting in the café looking at my car with my bike on the back this is a perfect place for lunch. I had the green bowl which is their specialty is smothered in black and chicken. It’s a delicious local place. Highly recommended.

I dig the adorable small town cafe vibe. Makes me feel like I’m in a hallmark movie about to fall in love with a local around Christmas time. In all seriousness, the food really impressed me. I’ll be back!

Great little family run cafe, great food. We ate outdoors, which was a bit buggy at first, but service was fast and food was fantastic.
I had the chicken pot pie, loved it, my wife had the fish tacos, she loved them. The cheese curds were also quite good.
Prices very reasonable, it was about 6pm on a Saturday in late September and we were seated right away.

The food was absolutely amazing. However the hostess had an attitude or she was having a very bad day, somewhat rude and not helpful. The rest of the staff was great!!

We were camping at Whitewater State Park, and heard that Lanesboro is very nice, so we went to check it out. Decided to get take-out here. The only vegan option was the Falafel Salad. Romaine lettuce, Klamath olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and quinoa. A dressing was included, but not at all needed due to the flavorful oil on the olives and tomatoes. On the other side were five falafels with good flavor and a bit of spice, on a shallow bed of hummus. The meal was satisfying and filling. We also got French fries on the side. The fries were just okay. I wasn’t a fan. Other reviews here, say the restaurant also serves vegan sausage and Zoodles. Neither were on the menu, and the waiter hadn’t heard of these.
All in all, it was a totally wonderful stop on our day of bicycling on the nearby trails. The food was wonderful, the service wonderful, and the atmosphere perfect for cyclists stopping by for refreshment. I especially enjoyed my mango blond beer from a local brewery. I Highly recommend stopping by for a fine lunch.

We highly recommend this hidden gem! The food and service were outstanding. We tried the Brussels sprouts, mango shrimp bowl, fish tacos, chicken strips, and fish & chips and every dish was fantastic. My mother-in-law said the fish was the best she’s ever had and the fries were freshly made. The mango shrimp bowl was especially delicious. It is difficult to find gluten free food with that much flavor. I’ll be dreaming about that dish for a long time! We hope to be back soon!

Idk if it comes breaded from Sysco or they do it themselves but this was probably the best fish and chips I'v ever had and I'v had a few. The breading was perfectly adhered!
Salad was solid too.
