A friend of mine lives in the area and wanted to check out this eatery. We were not expecting the exotic menu but so GLAD we popped in to try a bite! I had the Mango Shrimp with Brussel Sprouts and ... WOW. Just wow! The service was wonderful as we had a great conversation with the lady servicing the lobby. Thank you for the precious gift of nutritious food - we were able to finish our craft day energized and not sluggish! Great spot to check out.
We love this place. The service is a little different as you order at the counter or by phone and your food is brought to you. Also, water is self serve and you bus your own table. But I've got to tell you this little change in service seems to provide the opportunity to serve great food at a very reasonable price. So a buddy and I decided we were going to bike 100 miles using the path from Fountain MN to Houston MN. The first day we biked from Lanesboro to Fountain and back (22 miles). Saturday we biked from Lanesboro to Houston and back (65 miles). Sunday we biked toward Fountain then took a branch path south for 14 miles round trip. 101 miles all together.
