Cute place. It's an old house, renovated into a coffee/sandwich shop. Haven't had the coffee yet, but there were quite a few people coming in for coffee, so it must be good. My husband and I had the Cuban sandwich, which was very tasty.
My uncle and I had a wonderful experience at The Door. We had extra flowers from a service at a nearby church and the folks at The Door were kind enough to give them another life. We grabbed coffees on our way out and were so impressed with the quality of the coffee, the ambiance, and the kindness of the staff. Would absolutely recommend going!
Number one reason I like this place is because the Money from food and coffee sales is going to a good cause...the food is excellent and the employees are kind. Chess, checkers, outdoor seating, a few blocks from the Paul bunyan trail, TV lounge and a BIG ASS DICTIONARY.
