Great food, beverages and super friendly people in a down to Earth space with board games. We came on a day in which there was a Soup Festival and all of the soups were great! Legit pizza as well. Looking forward to being back

Beings it was our first time here I was amazed at the atmosphere and the staff . We had the pretzel and artichoke dip appetizers . Both were delicious . The beer selection was good as well. Definitely will be back.

This spot is a gem. We are not from the immediate area. In town for a high school hockey game, and popped in for a beer and pizza. Owners are friendly, and delightful. LOVED the Black IPA. We had the hot honey pepperoni pizza, and a a special pizza (Pig on Vacay), and both were great! We end up in Litchfield on occasion for our kids' sports, and this will be our first stop from now on.

I absolutely love everything about the half bushel! The owners are so nice and very friendly. Steph the bartender is very friendly and is very personable. The beers there are absolutely amazing. My favorite beers are the blond ale, cream ale and the blueberry saison. The food is to die for. I have had quite a bit of food off the menu and have loved all of it. So glad that there is a place like this in litchfield!
Kid-friendliness: They have pop, and juice for kids to drink. Have a kids menu for the kids as well as plenty of games for kids to play.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is 2 ways into the half bushel and both are wheel chair friendly!

Overall, great place to grab a beer and have some pizza! Highly recommend. We’ve caught them early in their operations, but the Alt beer is particularly good and we enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken Ranch pizza. I think they’re working on unifying the building sections they own for a single ambience, but it works pretty well! They’re working to strike a balance between a modern rustic while honoring past businesses.
Local craft brewery on Main Street Litchfield. Historic inside. 10 beers on tap and amazing food. Try the nacho panini or the three meat pizza. Favorite beers are the West Coast IPA and Black IPA. Plenty of room and tables, dog friendly patio. Kid friendly with lots of games. Beer, wine, cider, seltzer, juice. Something for everyone! Bring your family or friends and enjoy the space.

Came here for a quick pitstop and ended up staying for a few hours! Loved the friendly staff and prompt service. We had the spin dip and GIANT pretzel, both of them were great! The "ALT" beer was my favorite. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Half Bushel has been open only a few months (since March) and has a cool atmosphere inside a historic downtown building. They have a good sized menu for food and a decent selection of beers.

We went to try the beer and pizza, both were great!! Members of our party enjoyed a flight of beer, single pints and I enjoyed a glass of the white and red wine offerings. Both are on the sweet end and very easy drinking. There were 3 couples and we split 3 pizzas (pepperoni, three meat, the buffalo chicken ranch). The crust was perfectly soft with a nice crisp crunch, the sauce and toppings did not disappoint!! Next time you’re in the Litchfield area, stop in!!
