Received very poor service today. Waited over an hour for our food. Realized that the waitress forgot to put the order in! Was told would be ready in 5 minutes and it was over 10 when we finally got our orders. Other customers that came in after us received their appetizers, food or pizza. Coleslaw in one of the orders was tasteless and looked old.

Been to the Muddy Cow a few times. Today husband and I each ordered a cheeseburger with fries. It was beyond dry with no lettuce, onion or tomato. Burger was waaay overcooked and dry as a bone. The fry seasoning is funky and so overpowering you can't taste the fries. Grandson ordered chicken strips that were tough snd chewy along with fries he didn't eat. What kid doesn't eat fries??? Very disappointed.

The Muddy Cow sign reads “Not an ordinary sports bar” as an advertisement. The very description that it is an ordinary sports bar, however, applies to the restaurant in my opinion. There is a large selection of drinks, the usual bar food (burgers etc.) and of course many screens and a few slot machines for children. The food doesn't taste bad, but it doesn't taste extraordinary either. When we arrived on a Saturday, the kitchen and Service were understaffed and we had to wait a very long time. You can stop here, but you can't expect anything special.

Hoping for a fun family dinner, we gave Muddy Cow in Litchfield another try. The service was a mixed bag: friendly bartender and timely drinks, but a 30+ minute wait for food on a quiet night. The food itself was the real issue. The meat in my wrap and my wife's Philly had a terrible, off-putting smell and taste, leading to both meals being comped. My nephew's cheeseless burger arrived with cheese and a rock-hard bun. The experience was further ruined by an unbelievable number of flies inside the restaurant that made our meal impossible to enjoy. We've given this place multiple chances, but it's clear the quality is not improving.

Service was excellent! I had the Patty Melt and it was excellent as well. There happened to be a guy and his guitar playing some acoustic music which was an added touch.

Wow. This is the Muddy Cow. Downtown, Litchfield. One caveat, this is a four in the sports bar category. Great atmosphere. 2 for 1 special on beers great. Food… hit and miss… buffalo chicken wrap wasn’t great, but the Philly cheesesteak was a solid 5. Burger reviews at around a 4. Definitely worth the visit if you are in Litchfield.
The food was adequate but not something I would order again. I felt the coleslaw was dry and the wrap at best was average. It was difficult for people in our group of 5 to get drinks efficiently, but the wait staff was incredibly friendly. The DJ did a great job keeping people engaged and the music was fantastic. Honestly, the only real issue was the place was chilly all day and night to where it was difficult to get comfortable.

Drove to this place because it was recommended. Had the worst experience I think I've ever had. Started with the waitress being very slow to bring drinks after ordering them. Then, when we ordered, we specifically asked about pork in what was ordered. Waitress said there was no pork in what was ordered even though the menu said there was. Specifically asked not to put the pork in it. When the food came, there was pork in it. Sent it back to be fixed, and it took over an hour to get the meal after that. Then, Waitress totally neglected us. Asked for management. She said they would be right over. Waited another half hour. No management ever came. So I addressed the issue with the bartender, who said he was not the manager, and there was not a manager on duty. Needless to say, didn't eat there. Thus, I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. It is the worst I have ever experienced.
