Received very poor service today. Waited over an hour for our food. Realized that the waitress forgot to put the order in! Was told would be ready in 5 minutes and it was over 10 when we finally got our orders. Other customers that came in after us received their appetizers, food or pizza. Coleslaw in one of the orders was tasteless and looked old.
The Muddy Cow sign reads “Not an ordinary sports bar” as an advertisement. The very description that it is an ordinary sports bar, however, applies to the restaurant in my opinion. There is a large selection of drinks, the usual bar food (burgers etc.) and of course many screens and a few slot machines for children. Wow. This is the Muddy Cow. Downtown, Litchfield. One caveat, this is a four in the sports bar category. Great atmosphere. 2 for 1 special on beers great. Food… hit and miss… buffalo chicken wrap wasn’t great, but the Philly cheesesteak was a solid 5. Burger reviews at around a 4. Definitely worth the visit if you are in Litchfield.
