Ordered my usual stuffed grilled taco from the drive-thru. It was cooked to perfection

Visited on a week day around noon. I was impressed. Not from this town but compared to the Taco Johns in my hometown they were great. Many employees that were all ready to work. Food portion was above average. Timely friendly service

We stopped in the drive thru between 9:30-10pm on Friday night after a long day on the road. Options for food in this lil town, and the young woman working the drive thru window was phenomenal. Service was quick and polite and our food was fresh.

We placed an order for dine in service around 6:15pm. We received our order at 6:34pm, missing drink cups and sauce sides. There were several orders brought back from the drive thru, wrong orders handed out. There were two people standing at the counter to order, one got their order taken at the register, the other was asked by kitchen staff what they wanted and their food was made before their order was taken. Although the food was warm and tasted fine, the atmosphere and service were just not there. To the teams credit it appeared that there was training in the kitchen happening and that probably affected the speed of service. I counted only 3 staff, and that included the young lady being trained. I know labor budgets are tight and that the newer order system on the front counter is supposed to help lower labor cost but then the person running the front end needs to be able to multitask in order to efficiently expedite orders in a timely manner.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space for families.

35 years ago, Taco John's was really good, or maybe it just seemed so. Where I've lived since then, there's no Taco John's. I had to try it, especially the little tater things to see if it was as good as I remember. No. WOW, super salty. I couldn't eat them nor share with anyone!

If they could work on the taste of their food, it would be excellent. The taco seasoning just didn't agree with my tast buds.
