According to previous posts from Cascade Lodge and Restaurant shared they were closed for 2 weeks to make things even better for guests. We checked in 12/13 and had rodents in our cabin. We were offered $50 off and two breakfast sandwiches. Do better. We have stayed here before and will stay elsewhere from now on. The restaurant was the best part of the stay.

There were no servers for the tables. You have to order at the counter and even pick up your drink order at the counter.

We just had lunch there.

Love being able to read in the comfortable sitting room in the evening.

Located right on lake Superior with a beautiful view. They also have a cafe and bar in a separate building. The rooms have no air conditioning so when the weather is warm it can get a little hot. But, they do provide fans for each room. Besides the main Lodge you can stay in they do have Small log cabins also. We stayed in the lodge. Also a game room in the basement. Pool, ping, pong, ice maker and other games. No elevators. If you stay in the main Lodge, all of the rooms are on the second floor so you will have to lug your luggage to the second floor.

Nice place! A little loud with the road right there but not too bad. We liked being able to walk down to the beach and relax. Very peaceful!

A wonderful lodge sidled up to Lake Superior. Rustic look with nearby hiking galore. Includes a flower trail and some of the best waterfalls in the state!

Perfect for our family weekend. Comfortable bed, clean room, friendly staff at the desk. In the basecamp cabin I was happy to see a bathtub and nice little playground area, my 4 year old used these. There was also dish cable tv and good wifi. Other bonuses were a dehumidifier and table fan to keep the room comfortable and acted as white noise. The room & bathroom were bigger than they seemed like in the pictures.

We had 5b and I liked seeing the lake from my room as well as the playground. The playground area had ladder golf, tetherball, corn hole, a fire pit, and a large grill. Our cabin had a little charcoal grill we did all our cooking on.

We didn't bring our dogs this year, but there were a lot of dogs here, very family friendly place!

Stayed here for the Lutsen 99er and it was perfect. Really felt like a luxury hotel in the room with a rustic vibe throughout the site. The restaurant on property was also great. Food was outstanding and for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place.

Rooms: Comfortable bed. The great room overlooking the lake is awesome.

Food & drinks: Restaurant and bar next door is fantastic. The corned beef hash deliciously redefines the dish.

Noteworthy details: Location is wonderful. I can't wait to go back and stay longer.

We take a trip up north every summer and stay here, we love it! They’re extremely pet friendly and the rooms are always great.

Rooms: Always clean and nice.

Food & drinks: There’s a restaurant right next to the property so it’s easy to get food if you don’t want to go into town.
