We ordered chicken nachos and they were horrendous. Overcooked chips and chicken with little cheese-never had that bad of nachos and they were 26.00

Everything has been great. Food was great, staff was fantastic BUT the loud obscene, obnoxious drunks that came to the bar completely ruined the vibe 😞

My food was $21 and I didn’t have change on me, so I paid in $40 cash. I didn’t get any change back?? In what world do you take a $20 tip without consulting me? 😔 I feel robbed…

My 7 year old Grandson didn’t want to go to the restaurant with us wanting to play with his iPad 🙄

I made my way to Mogul on the lower level of the lodge. It was packed. (Maybe better I didn’t bring in the 7 year old).

I went to the bar to order ToGo. I got a Long Island Tea and ordered the Wild Rice Burger and the Cranberry BLT on Cranberry Walnut Bread. I didn’t get the 7 year old anything 🤣

Service was friendly even though it was packed there. Food came out quickly barely had time to finish my drink 😬

Took the food back and it was really outstanding!!

I recommend Moguls!!

We’ve been traveling up and down the Northshore for 20 some years and recently discovered The Highlands/Moguls (the restaurant) and I just can not say enough about this restaurant AND area! I am a very good cook (modest too) so I didn’t want the Chicken rice as my side, I ordered the Soythwestern chicken and corn. Our little waitress brought the wild rice by mistake. Our waiter Rob, immediately caught the mistake and brought me a cup of the southwestern!!!!! oh my God!!!! So good. Both of these soups and I am so fussy about all soups! Kudos to that chef AND the staff. We WILL be back. PS. Rob is a great waiter!

The cuisine was mediocre, while the service was exceptional. Menu items seemed overpriced. I opted for the Parmesan Crusted Walleye, and my wife chose the flat bread. We sampled each other's dishes, only to be underwhelmed by the Walleye. The cornbread accompanying my meal was the highlight, albeit the portion was small. Ambiance was pleasant. This restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, so we visited on a Sunday evening. During our three-day resort stay, we discovered an outstanding restaurant, Cascade Restaurant, merely 10 minutes north. Their breakfast and lunch offerings were consistently excellent and reasonably priced.

Great food and drinks. Wonderful experience to sit by the outside fire and relax with a nice glass of spirits or wine chatting with other patrons from near and far.

Had a tasty lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Tried a few appetizers. Cheese curds were a hit as well as the Walleye Cakes. Enjoyed a Philly Sandwich and the Bacon burger was great for the boys. Will visit again when back for a visit.

Very good ambience and food was okay as well, but everything is overpriced and portion was less too.

Truly some of the worst and most confusing food I’ve ever been served. A margherita pizza had cheddar cheese on it, as well as an entirely-too-sweet sauce and old, watery tomatoes. My partner and I remarked that, had I been cross country skiing all day, the food probably would have been super tasty.

We ordered a Caesar salad and a margarita flatbread. Caesar salad was unremarkable if not overflowing with croutons. The flatbread was worse than school lunch pizza. Worst food I have had in ages.

The chicken wild rice soup was the second worst cup of soup I have ever had. The honey bread chicken dinner on the other hand was amazing and made up for the non satisfying soup.

Nice and cozy place. The food was good but a little expensive for my liking. Overall had a good time here!

The server tried, she really did. The food was awful. Inedible even. We barely ate, and still got nauseated. The men's room felt like a night club. The atmosphere was odd.
