We’ve been traveling up and down the Northshore for 20 some years and recently discovered The Highlands/Moguls (the restaurant) and I just can not say enough about this restaurant AND area! I am a very good cook (modest too) so I didn’t want the Chicken rice as my side, I ordered the Soythwestern chicken and corn. Our little waitress brought the wild rice by mistake. The cuisine was mediocre, while the service was exceptional. Menu items seemed overpriced. I opted for the Parmesan Crusted Walleye, and my wife chose the flat bread. We sampled each other's dishes, only to be underwhelmed by the Walleye. The cornbread accompanying my meal was the highlight, albeit the portion was small. Ambiance was pleasant. I made my way to Mogul on the lower level of the lodge. It was packed. (Maybe better I didn’t bring in the 7 year old).
