This was so terrible it was almost funny. The food is very mediocre and extremely expensive...$30 for onion rings and cheese curds that were lackluster at best
Go for the mountain view but bring your own food.

Fall viewing and stopped for a bite. Onion rings and chicken tenders for the win.

Just had beer.
Basic hot dogs & nachos type of foods at the summit, enjoyable views, and a summit hike if you are a Billy goat. Beautiful the first week of October. Gondola tickets are EXPENSIVE though, and the whole resort is now cash free, so get your tickets online before you go for all your activities.

Beautiful views and lodge. WAY OVERPRICED! We spent over $100 for a family of 4 for hospital or school quality food. It was busy on a Saturday but not packed and they were so slow on replacing the condiments that my food was cold before I could eat it. That's right, they ask you to spend $13 for just a chicken sandwich which is a chicken patty on a bun. Pickles, lettuce, tomato, onions and all sauces were self serve and not kept up on. I definitely regret not having lunch somewhere enjoyable.
Dietary restrictions: Forget about it! Bring your own food if this is you.

For the view this place offers the food lacks. Hamburgers were tasteless and plain. The area where the onions and lettuce were at was dirty, the containers were really disgusting. Pricey for this kind of food. There could be much more done with the experience of the gondola and views. I don't know how this place can be called a "chalet". My recommendation bring your own food or eat somewhere else. People were sitting on the tables and even putting their dogs on them...

We are here for the 10th year for MEA. We came up for lunch like we always do and they were out of all their food. The “chefs” were rude and dismissive and unapologetic. It was 1pm on Thursday of MEA. How is this possible and why aren’t the staff trained to be more professional about it? The price of the Gondola is getting outrageous and if we can’t even get lunch during normal hours count us out for next time. So disappointing for a place minting money.
The only bright spot was the cashier/bartender. He was trying very hard to accommodate people.
UPDATE: I learned from the cashier that their food truck did not arrive as scheduled. Knowing this in advance, management should be informing people who are purchasing gondola tickets of the situation so they can decide whether to spend that amount of money with no lunch options.

This place is good for the view it offers. You can sit and relax here while you soak in the fall colors.
The food is decent but the soft drinks are pricey. I would not recommend wasting money on their coffee though. The coffee machines are useless, had to throw the coffee. Would recommend bringing your own brew instead.

FYI - the Veggie Burger is a burger alternative NOT a hamburger with veggies. Not bad though.

We rode the gondola and enjoyed the running water creek and scenic overlook. We also walked the trails once on top. The restaurant was open, but we had just eaten, so we bought water before our walk. The ride back down was just as spectacular. Thank you
The views were awesome

Stopped in for a quick snack after riding the Gondola up the Mountain and ordered french fries, chicken tenders, and onion rings. Everything was very good and the view from the deck of the restaurant was beautiful.

I paid $10.75 for a Celsius and I ordered chicken tenders(expecting the normal size for $8) and was charged+given the kids size for $9 which had 3 chicken tenders, while my friend ordered the same thing and the same way, received the normal size(7/8 tenders) for $8.
