Came back in August with both my and my husband’s family and we were able to talk and play games easily. Love that we can bring in takeout. Great options for people who don’t drink or are pregnant and they’ll try to come up with something else if you have an idea. We love the space and how relaxed it is.
Great atmosphere. Super friendly bartenders. What a great addition to town! Will for sure be back!
Nic and Kelsey were so accommodating and great to work with when hosting my Bridal Shower. I cannot recommend their space enough! It was perfect and so many guests were raving about the set up and space. Highly recommend Embars for an intimate event space or even just a fun evening with friends for some cocktails!

Embars Cocktail Bar & Lounge is a small town get together at it’s finest. The cocktails are always delicious and change with different events. New looks and drinks keep guests curious. The owners are welcoming and friendly, creating a warm and cozy feel where family and friends relax. The bar offers a great selection of mocktails and cocktails you’d expect to see in an establishment in a metropolitan area, but with small town vibes and customer service that give it personality. After an evening at Plaza or at the Madelia Theater, Embars is a great place to extend the night. Parking is sometimes full on the main street, but additional parking on the backside is available. The space is clean from top to bottom, especially the bathroom. Guests enjoy fantastic drinks and great atmosphere; the flight of cocktails is well worth $20. Popular drinks include the Crown Apple/caramel, Butter Beer, and Moscow Mule/moose. Service can be busy, but staff stay kind and quick to fix mistakes. Kids are welcome and can play in the game area. Embars is a destination for specialty cocktails from the full bar and a place where everyone knows your name.
